I didn’t expect much from this place, but surprisingly it taste like home. Side dish(banchan) super fresh and dishes were … Really small but clean. Thanks so much Mr. Lee

No frills mom and pop joint with solid Korean food. Got take-out here one time and was satisfied. The restaurant itself is inside a small grocery store, which is nice to browse around while waiting. Water and tea is available in the eating area. Owners were friendly and packed the food really well to minimize clean-up by the time we got home.

Without a doubt some of the best Korean food I’ve had(U.S.) It’s a small –very small– area of the market that sits about 5 tables(20 people, tops), tucked into the back of the shop. The kitchen is likely smaller than the average home, so the amount of food they can cook at one time is limited. Something to keep in mind if you’re with a big group and look to sample various things on the menu. That said, everything tastes fresh. The soups are great, dumplings are delicious. Would definitely go again if I’m around the area.

This restaurant is connected to the Lee’s Market grocery store. You have to go through the store and the entrance is to the left. It’s separated from the store by a wall. When you look at it, it’s not much and isn’t really a nice restaurant compared to other restaurants. Just a few tables and chairs and a TV. No booths, no fancy tablecloths, no frills, etc. Also it’s pretty much self service. The lady will come to get your order and then bring it to you when your food is done but other than that, you’re on your own. There’s a water cooler where you can get a drink if you want and a table with napkins, etc if you need it. Spoons and chopsticks are in a box on the table. So honestly, if you wanna go to a Korean restaurant in Toledo for the ambience and waiter service, go to Koreana. But if you want to eat real good Korean food, come here. It’s where all the native Koreans go for tasty Korean cuisine.(I’m not saying that Koreana isn’t good food, but it’s a bit pricier than it is here). The food here is legit! I got the kimchi jigae which was really delicious! And the pork bulgogi was pretty good too! And the prices here are a bit cheaper than Koreana.
