We host weekly tournaments and strive to create a healthy gaming community.

History

Who We Are

Frogtown Hobbies was created in the summer of 2012 by two long-​time friends, Rob Coffman and James Fox, who met while playing the collectible card game Magic: The Gathering in 1998. James, the son of a hobby shop owner, and Rob, a competitive player in the local and regional scene, aimed to create an online experience that combined their many years playing and interacting in the industry with the needs of gamers from across the country. Just as the games themselves had forged the friendship between James and Rob, they were eager to give back to the gaming community and welcome players of all ages to share and enjoy their favorite collectible card games, board games, and miniatures. To this end, the brand-​new Frogtown Hobbies brick and mortar store opened in the Summer of 2014, ushering in a new era of gaming excitement to Northwest Ohio!
