The Forty Frame Game ® is the world’s most unusual bowling tournament. It is a whole new bowl game! Created by proprietors in 1989, it’s the fastest growing bowling tournament in the nation. More than 310,000 bowlers entered in the first 26 years and they took home more than 11 million dollars! Come and join the Fun!

Established in 1989.

This bowling tournament is held at two locations every year, January through July, in Toledo, Ohio and the annual USBCBA site. It is one continuous game forty frames long with unique scoring opportunities (and pitfalls!) that lead to a perfect score of 1305. And no, there has not been a perfect game bowled to date! The Forty Frame Game was originally created by bowling proprietors in 1989 in Toledo, Ohio by Jim and Kim Walter. This one continuous game of 40 frames was designed to bring the «fun» back into bowling. It gives bowlers an entertaining yet challenging bowl game. Since its inception, The Forty Frame Game has grown over the years to become known as «The World’s Most Unusual Bowling Tournament» where hundreds of thousands of bowlers have entered and taken home millions in prize money!
