Stayed a night en route, on the spur of the moment. They were welcoming, clean and helpful. Quiet, with a comfy bed. Breakfast was more than enough: bagels, cereal, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice and more AND included in their low room rate. They stored our bikes for safekeeping. Recommend!

I was here for a business trip. Where do I begin? Hmm. The problem wasn’t only the room mix-up. It was the service Christine(the rude desk attendant) gave us. She was horrible from the minute we entered the hotel. No acknowledgement and when she did, it wasn’t friendly at all. She didn’t even ask me for my ID to verify my identity when checking into the room. She also didn’t confirm the TYPE of room we were getting or we would never have went upstairs in the first place. That in itself tells you how much she was rushing to get rid of us. She was more interested in talking to the gentleman that was not in any sort of uniform, sitting behind the counter, eating potato chips. When we arrived in the room and saw there was only one bed, I called downstairs and Christine was very snotty on the phone and said, and I quote, «There’s nothin’ I can do. We’re booked. You can go to the Ramada.» My coworker and I then went downstairs to talk to her about the situation. We were tired and didn’t want to have to change hotels. We figured maybe she’d be more polite in person. We were wrong. She was even more condescending and rude in person. I told her what a smart attitude she had and I wanted to talk to the manager. She then called Mo(the manager) on her cell, he spoke with my coworker, repeated the same thing Christine had said(unapologetically) and told my coworker he wasn’t to be contacted the rest of the evening. I then went outside and contacted corporate. Unfortunately they said there was nothing they could do without Mo being there. So, trying to compromise, I asked Christine if she had a roll out for one of us to sleep on. She said the hotel didn’t carry them. Which I found hard to believe. I went back outside to call corporate and my coworker decided to record(on her phone) what was happening while I was outside. In that time period Christine told another guest the hotel DID have two other rooms available AND a roll out bed. When my coworker told me this– it the final straw. After I got off with corporate, who said they would return my call within 24 hours – and didn’t – I called my coworker and she brought our luggage down. We went to the Holiday Inn Express where they were extremely helpful and polite. Their service is something I would have expected from a Marriott, but unfortunately your hotel didn’t come close. Rude, unprofessional, and menacing are three words that come to mind when I think of this hotel, and staff.
