Pedicures today with a friend. The ladies that did our pedicures were friendly and paid attention to detail. The chairs we sat in didn’t function as they should with the massaging feature, which was a huge let down. Also the front desk was lacking customer service while checking out. The place wasn’t busy at all, and based on their prices, I can see why. No hurry to return.

If you want to try this place, you have to verify their prices. The price is based on who cuts your hair, not based on what type of cut you want. A simple, 10 minute cut can cost you $ 70. I wouldn’t go to this place again since I could get an even better cut for much less of a price in other places. By the way, they get more expensive each time you go there, so verify the price every time.

I have been a customer of David Broadway for more than 20 years. Yesterday, after I had my hair cut and was ready to purchase products and pay for the services, I was told the«$ 25 gift card» I had purchased during the holidays had expired(in March) and I couldn’t use it for payment.(This was a promotion where you got the additional $ 25 worth of credit when you purchased a $ 100 gift card) There was no mention of an expiration date when I purchased the gift cards and the gift card is made of cardboard and has the expiration information handwritten in ink on the back of the card. At the same time, they are running the same promotion for Mother’s Day – with no mention of any expiration date. I was floored that they would not find some way to accomodate a customer of more then 20 years, and will certainly not be going back to this salon. I will, however, cheerfully tell everyone I know to look elsewhere for services since this company clearly doesn’t value longtime customers.

I went to David Broadway for the first time yesterday. IF you go ask the price of your service before because it depends on who you get. The website lowballs you based on «new» hairstylists. They do not offer the information if you don’t ask. My haircut was double the site’s price and I did not even request this person. My haircut was okay, but I could go to Attitudes cheaper and get better quality. Also I was left in the middle of my appointment so she could go color her next appointment’s hair. I won’t be going back. Tooo expensive.

I have gone to David Broadway Backstage a couple of times and love it. The salon is relaxing and feels luxurious and you can’t beat Backstage’s price. I have moved to Austin and plan on going back while I am in town for Christmas because I like it there so much. Ali has cut my hair and she did a great job. She listened to what I wanted but gave good suggestions too, and the quality of the cut and style was great. The girls who have checked me in and out have also been very friendly.

Love this salon. They are friendly, do an amazing job, and have such a variety of services. Great availability on appointment times as well, and give me no hassles if I need to move an appointment.

Got a mani/pedi for as a Christmas gift. The pedi was fantastic! They do three treatments, mud, wax and something I can’t recall. Tech did a great job and wonderful selection of OPI colors. The mani was great until I chipped a nail the next day. By day three is looked like I chewed and peeled the paint off. Downside was the staff. The woman who did my mani/pedi was very nice and chatty but not in an annoying way. The front of house and manager were rather rude and off putting. We asked for change to tip the tech and they gave us 50 one dollar bills?! Really? I thought this was a spa not a strip club. Too bad it was like we were putting them out just to get change. Would I go back? Don’t think so. A little too pricey for a mani/pedi in Toledo. And the staff left something to be desired.
