Their service was the best ad for Über yet. Called for a taxi on Saturday mid-​afternoon in West Toledo. Was told I’d be picked up in 15 – 30 min. Wasn’t snowing yet, but it did start snowing about 25 min into the 45 min wait. After 45 min. I used Über. Was picked up in 15 min. Called to cancel cab, waited on hold for 6 more minutes. By this time it was nearly an hour since I first called and was told a cab was on the way and was given attitude for cancelling. I should have just used Über to begin with.

the last year i have been using über, before that i was a faithful black/​white user. tonight i thought i would give black and white another chance.
well guess what 10 to 30 minutes turned into them never picking me up, again it was the dispatchers fault. will never use them again. .
potter family get your shit together, über will put you out of business in 5 years… and you know what… you deserve it!!! your service is horrible.

Just survived 15 minutes of horrible ride. Cab #89, drived by affrican immigrant. He did not even bother to offer assistance to passenger upon entering or existing the cab. He was a reckless driver as he was consistently glued to FB on his phone while driving. ALL THE TIME. Thank God i reached to my destination Smelly and disgusting cab. The worst part is he still asking me TIP even he did not offer any assistance. This is one of too many bad experience i have when using this company service. OVERPRICED and RUDE DRIVER. I am not surprise if UBER and LYFT will be putting Black and White Cab out of bussines sooner than we think

They take care, of me every time. I think at this point they know my voice and my friends. Whenever we call someone is picking us up within 5 – 10 minutes.

Ordered a cab online around 5:45am, estimated arrival time was 6:12am so I’m thinking okay that’s fine I’ll wait. Well I ended up waiting till 6:40am until the taxi finally got there. I mean the spot I set to be picked up at was a megabus stop, you’d think it wouldn’t be the first time a taxi had to go there but nope. Luckily I didn’t have to be anywhere in a hurry, driver was nice at least and we stopped for breakfast.

Great Driver Ryan picked me up from Next Door Pub & Grill at Heatherdowns & Holland Sylvania. He was very prompt, very kind and didn’t cost much either. I had a few too many cocktails at one of the best bar restaurants in town so I elected to employ Black & White Cab as my designated driver.

The worst experience I’ve ever had with a Taxi cap. I don’t recommend it to any one who wants to arrive safely to their destination.

I called the dispatch to get a cab. He said it would be 10 – 30 minutes, which it actually was. However, when he asked if I’d be paying cash or credit and I said credit, he said no problem. When the driver arrived, he said the credit machine didn’t work. I said,“no big deal, we’ll pass an ATM on the way to the destination and I’ll get you cash”. The car was a piece of junk, the driver had B. O and wouldn’t wear a set belt, so his indicator was annoyingly chiming for the duration of the ride. But the worst part was the .23 cents per 10^th mile. We went 9 miles but the bill was $ 32? Insane for Toledo and not the rate their website proclaims to charge. Then of course the driving was fumbling trying to make change and asked if I had singles. I didn’t, so now this ridiculously expensive $ 32 cab ride now cost $ 35. I would never recommend using this company. Take the bus!

Coming from someone who lives and dies by reviews, I originally did not want any part of this company. That said, I called at 4:30am to be picked up in the middle of nowhere and taken back to my house. I was told 10 to 30 minutes. Clearly because of my location I knew 10 minutes was a joke and even 30 was pushing it. However to my surprise the driver arrived at the 18 minute mark! Bob (I am dead serious) was friendly, personable, and just outright awesome! I learned something tonight and that is maybe I shouldn’t always judge a business based on reviews. I already know that people who have a bad experience are quick to «hate» on a business. People like me who review everything (good or bad) always review. I was told on average B&W gives about 2,000 rides a day and according to their reviews have 7; all of which are negative. Well I am pleased and happy to be the first positive! I will and would gladly use this company again! On time, fun to talk to, and fairly priced! Not to mention (hope Bob doesn’t get a ear full) I was allowed to smoke a cig on the way home! Amazing service. Moral of the story… More people who do have positive experiences with companies need to post them. Here I was ready to not give Black and White a chance in hell because of their negative feedback. Much love from me to B&W and Bob (looked like Jerry Garcia)
