Had the Kobe burger and I don’t think it was Kobe. Wasn’t seasoned very well. I asked for it med. and it was mid well. My friend got the 5 spice wings and they were over cooked. Our waitress was excellent and very nice. I think I could make a better lobster mac and cheese.

Let me tell you about the tannons of this place. You walk in and the sound tannons hit you first. Orgasm for the ears. You want sazaraclicious conversation? Find Ace Fly Boy. He won’t steer your tannon desires wrong. Order the pretzel bites. They’re fire

Great burgers & drinks. Love Reset as well. We celebrated my daughters 23rd birthday & everyone enjoyed everything. The chicken in waffle sandwich was killer:)

Bar 145 has good burgers — they’re big, juicy, and in my experience, always cooked nicely. I don’t think they have great service. They have a make-your-own burger menu and you check little boxes on a paper menu with the toppings and options that you want. I don’t understand how they could mess up an order when it’s coming right from the customer, directly into the kitchen. And when you tell them, «Excuse me, but I think they left off the pickles and the lettuce» they bring it to you, but they seem irritated about it. Like they have other things going on. Good luck trying to flag down a waitress for a refill. If I wanted a great burger and great service, I’d head to Burger Bar 419.

They changed everything! The options for the burgers dropped by half, and they cheaped out on lots of the portions. I understand having to do well as a business, but they were always packed out before because of how awesome the food and music were. We won’t be back until we hear they’ve gone back to better selections.

The 5.00 burgers on Wednesdays are still 5.00 dollars but now you must buy a drink or a side with it. My wife’s burger was not correct, so they remade it and the second time was not better. The cheese was not melted, the red pepper was on the side and not directly on the burger. The brioche was not very fresh. The taste of the meat was average. I would go to sodbusters and get a great burger made from tanks meats. Bar 145 should think about where they get there meat from. Sorry the quality has decreased. Positive note; the waitress was good.

I think I’m done with this place. I’ve been a regular customer since it opened and over the last year I’ve watched the quality of food decline and the the service is possibly some of the worst service I’ve had in a very long time. It’s sad because their wait staff used to be incredible even when they were slammed, now it’s extremely slow with an attitude.

Sent the below message to management & never heard back. Debated on whether or not to post however, since the management decided my complaint was not worthy of a response, I decided my complaint was worthy of an audience. Bar/Restaurant Manager– Hello, I would like to start off by saying my husband and I have had great times at Bar 145 in the past, we have specifically enjoyed coming in to support Tricky Dick & the cover ups. We first heard them while at our lake house at PIB so, when we saw they frequently played at your establishment we were floored! We are not 145 «regulars» by any means as we have only visited your establishment a handful of times. On this particular Sunday, we came out to specifically check out the newly opened«re-set». We were meeting friends & arrived first so, being more familiar with 145 we walked into that entrance & took a seat at the bar. We were immediately greeted by the bartender Lauren. She was upbeat, friendly, and appeared as she had been In the service industry for awhile as her immediate attitude & service were excellent! I ordered a Christmas ale(Great Lakes) & my husband ordered a cocktail(stoli, diet coke & lime, tall). We both had about half of our drinks gone when our friends arrived, we decided to leave our tab open as instructed by Lauren due to the tabs being transferable.(Awesome idea & incredibly convenient for customers). The 4 of us walked over to re-set and played a handful of games, my husband & I ordered another round from the delightful bartender at re-set(don’t know her name) finished the drinks we ordered and decided to head back over to 145 for food. The 4 of us sat down and Lauren greeted us again immediately, my husband and his friend ordered deviled eggs to share and his friend also ordered a Bowl of chili. The chili and deviled eggs came out promptly. My husband noticed the deviled eggs did not have bacon wrapped around them as the menu inferred they would. I told him maybe the bar was out and he stated he would simply ask Lauren as part of the appeal of the deviled eggs for him & his friend was in fact the bacon(men). My husband motioned for Lauren & again she greeted us warmly, when my husband asked if the deviled eggs were supposed to have bacon, Lauren said«I don’t think so, is that what the menu says?» My husband replied with, «well yes and that was part of the appeal of the deviled eggs» Lauren’s response was«if you just want some bacon, I can get you some bacon» my husband responded and let her know, that no, he did not«just want some bacon» he had wanted the dish as described on the menu. A few moments later Lauren places a small plate of bacon in front of my husband and his friend. They most certainly ate the bacon, I am not attempting to insinuate that they did not however, from that moment on our service did a complete 360. I ordered a BYO with truffle fries & at the same time my husband ordered the Americana med-well with truffle fries as well. 10 – 15 mins pass, my BYO is delivered by a food runner along with an appetizer order of truffle fries. I begin eating my sandwich under the assumption my husbands is moments behind mine. To our dismay, not only did his burger never arrive, we were unable to get Lauren’s attention. Our once consistency refilled drinks sat empty, she would not make eye contact with us and we sat with Empty drinks until I was done with my sandwich and had to flag her down for our bill. My husband was understandably upset, no apology for not putting his order in(not that he asked) no apology for the all of a sudden extended wait time for a drink even though the amount of guests at the bar had not changed, nothing. Gave us our check with a smile. My husband being the man he is still tipped her 20% and we left & went elsewhere for him to have dinner. This was a Sunday afternoon from 430 – 630 and our tab without his burger was $ 60.00. I am in no way asking or expecting anything to make up for this experience. I am however, going to express to you the complete disgust I have for this establishment. My husband is a small business owner in the Toledo area and we always try to support local businesses. I have to tell you, we will never frequent your establishment after being treated this way. It’s almost as if my husband was punished for asking about a menu item missing a main ingredient. Lauren would not make eye contact with him or ask if we needed anything once her brought this error to her attention. May I suggest, training your employees on new menu items, the menu itself and most importantly customer service. If your staff is unable to accept criticism when a small mistake like this is made how can they ever accept it when they make a large mistake? Food for thought.

Skip to the last paragraph of this review if you wanna read something pretty cool… then come back and read the rest :) We’ve been eating at Bar 145 a lot more often lately. The main reason for this is that Burger Bar 419 recently divested from the nearby Monroe street location(which subsequently devolved back into the thoroughly mediocre«Star Bar.») Generally speaking, I like Bar 145. But… The food is pricy for the quantity that you receive. I usually order a burger which I «build myself» using the provided order form(as shown in several of the pictures). My burgers have, and this is unusual at most other places, ALWAYS been cooked to a perfect medium well, and have always been very tasty. BUT, the patties definitely seem to be a little on the small side and the toppings seem to be a little on the sparse side. After I eat a burger, either with or without the bun, I still feel pretty damned hungry. The mixed drinks are creative and, in general, are a cut above those offered at other places; same is true for the appetizers. Better yet, the drinks and the apps change with the seasons. The beer selection is pretty OK also. Atmosphere: Pretty much what you’d expect. Clean, and nice enough. BUT, bring your earplugs if you plan to eat inside when a band is playing. The patio is small, but chill. Service: No significant problems yet. Crowd: I’ve heard this place described as a meat market. Yeah. It just might be that. FINALLY(and this shit is important): Although it’s not open yet, «RESET» will be opening very soon, and will be attached to Bar145. Billed as «Toledo’s first adult arcade,» it sounds pretty great to me. They plan to have about 30FREEPLAY classic arcade games, and about 30 beers on tap(serve yourself and get charged by the ounce… perfect for sampling new beers!!). Check out this link for more details: And no, Bar145 didn’t pay me to write this! If RESET lives up to my expectations, a fifth star is coming.

The build your own burger is great. Lots of variety, good value. Quality bun options, very good party, doneness options, interesting toppings(like truffle aioli). They also have a great lunch special. Definitely worth checking out!

I wish I read the reviews before I came to this place. The atmosphere is modern and seems like it has potential. I got the truffle fries and mozzarella w/marinara appetizer. The fries were limp and saturated with grease. The mozzarella app was flavorless. The breading, cheese and sauce all lacked flavor. Atmosphere good. Food no Bueno.:( After addressing the server about the food, the server looked at my plate and very smugly commented«what do you want me to do, you’ve eaten much of the food?» I split the two apps with a friend. I had 1.5 bites of the mozzarella app and maybe 4 – 8 fries. Yes I tasted my food and it was gross. The server did tell the manager who never stopped by to see how we were doing; that was pretty disappointing. The manager took a whopping 10% off, even though I clearly only ate maybe 10% of the meal.:/ While my friend went to town on her food, I would imagine if 40% of each app isn’t being enjoyed more would’ve been done. As mentioned bland food seems to be a norm at this place, unless you’re ordering a burger.(What can go wrong with cooking a burger anyway?) I’m not so much disappointed in the bland food, but how the manager did not stop by to address the food complaint. It would’ve been a tad more fair for the manager to see what was going on and how I truly wasn’t eating my ½ of the apps ordered. After reading the reviews you’ll see I’m not the only guest who feels the food lacks flavor. Even some salt would’ve done this plate some justice. This place has potential so hopefully they revamp the recipes/menu some and listen to customers.:) Short story long, I guess warning people of the food quality/service is the better thing to do. If you want drinks at a happening bar, here’s your spot. Looking for some food to enjoy with drinks, this isn’t your place.

My husband and I visited for lunch after purchasing a Groupon. I’d heard great things about this place, and after looking at the menu online first I saw items I would like as a vegetarian, plus of course items my meat eating husband would like as well. I was disappointed! First, the bathroom was horrendous. It looked like dried urine was all over the seats and they hadn’t cleaned them in a long time. There was also other AHEM… «stuff» sticking to the inside and outside of the bowls. Gross! There were two soap dispensers, and one was empty. I got the black bean panini, which was supposed to be a homemade patty on grilled focaccia. The patty was bland and flavorless, and the bread was not grilled but toasted to the point that it was like eating a giant croûton. The entire sandwich felt like it was missing something. On the flip side, my husband liked the build your own burger he created. He also liked the fries. I guess if you look at this place as more of a bar than a restaurant, you could overlook the disgusting bathroom and less than stellar food. I just wanted lunch, not to drink, so I was disappointed. I won’t be back.

Let me start with the positive. Food was«OUTSTANDING!» Was kinda pricey, which is usually not an issue for me. However it becomes an issue when I leave hungry, & I’m not a big eater! Service was also pretty poor. Not 1 refill! Actually left & went to McDonald’s drive thru to get something to drink! If I were rating food alone, would be a solid 4 – 5 star. However factoring in «OUTRAGEOUS» prices, for«EXTRA» small portions, leaving hungry & «HORRIBLE» service, 2 stars is a stretch!!! Made 2 trips in 1! My 1st& last!!!:-(

Four, count-em, 4 bearded dudes behind the bar. Not easy on the eyes. Where are the beautiful bar maids? What is the management thinking? Why, they might even decide to paint the walls purple and install grit-laced toilet paper in the men’s room — They seem that intent on scaring away customers. And what is all that whining noise coming from the stage? Oh. Entertainment? Really? Ugh!

I’ve been to Bar 145 a handful of times now and there are definitely certain menu items that stand out. Although I did notice in the menu recently that Chef Robby Lucas changes up the menu by the season. — Happy Hour 4 – 7 Wednesdays– ½ off small plates and cocktails and $ 5BYO burgers(beef and veggie only, salmon is $ 9!) — Follow them on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter to know about their daily deals — BIG fan of just their cheeseburger cooked«Bar 145»…so juicy and wonderful on the brioche bun — Truffle fries are amazeballs with the roasted red pepper aioli. They throw in roasted garlic cloves in the sauce. Eat that with the sauce and fry. You’re welcome. — Great place to watch any sports game. LOTS of HD tvs everywhere, including the patio. — Fridays & Saturdays when there is a band, there may be cover. And it gets packed so go early if you want a nice little parking spot. So…there. :)

This place was great. They had a good happy hour for drinks and for food. The burger was awesome! We sat at the bar inside but as close to outside as possible, and it was just a really great place. Coming from Chicago it is strange to see cool places like this in strip malls… but I guess that is how they do in Toledo.
