Alternative Plumbing Plus Inc. in Toledo, OH serves customers in northern Ohio and southern Michigan. We not only clean all drains and sewers, but we also repair underground broken sewers and install new ones. We repair inside gas leaks and install new gas lines to stoves, hot water tanks and dryers. History

Established in 1929.

Alternative Plumbing is a third-​generation, locally-​owned, family business who opened its doors in 1929 by Alfred Schuster, the current owners grandfather. About 30 years later, his son took over operation of the business and about 30 years after that his son took over company operations, bringing us to the current owner today. Mark added the ‘Plus’ to the company name to include the new services he brought in that Alternative Plumbing provides today, such as sewer camera inspection equipment, excavating, underground directional boring and high pressure jetting. The company has grown to being both plumbing contractors and sewer contractors, holding licenses in over 20 cities, counties and jurisdictions today.

Alternative Plumbing Plus Inc is a third-​generation, locally-​owned and operated Toledo-​based family business since 1929. The founder of the plumbing company, Alfred Schuster, started the company in 1929 — 86 years ago. His grandson Mark, the current owner, has been running the business for the last 25 years. Mark is a past marine corp veteran who enjoys boating and attending sports car auctions.
