Having stopped at the Café at other Ingles Markets in the past and been pleased, we gave the Toccoa café a try while passing through on a recent trip. What a mistake. My wife had a pre-​packaged salad that was very disappointing and I had some chicken tenders from the hot bar that were anything but tender. I am still kicking myself for not returning them after the first bite. They were dry and tough and despite the advertised flavor, not very tasty. The market itself was clean with fresh flowers in the bathrooms and the deli counter employees were very friendly. Those are the only reasons I am giving the café 2 stars instead of 1. Next time we’ll stop at Bell’s Restaurant.

Bad news: cashiers are sometimes a bit brusque and occasionally rude.
Good news: excellent selection of items and great for buying organic food. Great selection of beer and wine. Good people that work in management. I lost $ 30 cash while shopping once and it was returned to the desk!

I’ve been at mountain-​town Ingles with friendlier teenaged cashiers (ahem, Ellijay, GA). Nice beer selection and humungous store overall.
