Great flooring experience. They were not pushy and gave me plenty of time to make and commit to a decision. The installation was timely and very professional! My floor looks great! I will be making future purchases!

I just have to write this review for every morning when I get up and look at this carpet my blood boils. First let me start with I am very very experienced in carpeting, I hail from the North whereas we carpet everything (ceramic tile is new to me) AND I worked for Mr. Tile/​Carpet One for 9 years (exterior designer, but very close to owner and all employees). This is the SIXTH house that I have remodeled (so I know a bit about materials/​price) AND I am a OCD about my carpet… everyone MUST remove shoes AND wear either socks or slippers (don’t want feet sweat on rug). I vacuum weekly with a Shark, I scrub yearly (and put fans on rug to quickly dry) then treat with Scotchguard. SO I have a pretty good handle on carpeting wear and care.
Bought carpeting from this business almost a year ago. The prices were good and especially on the remnants. SO why complain? Less than a year of wear and this main piece, the bulk of carpeted area is falling apart. This was a cheap Berber, however I believe it should have made it at LEAST 5 years. I called the store to see if the manufacturer recalled this roll. I was met with total lack of respect and concern («I have sold this carpet to motels and they have no complaints»)…exactly my point. This man is trying to tell me that 2 adults wearing socks, with extreme care for floor, are making this cheap piece of crap unravel. NOPE that would be a manufacturing problem. He said he would have the installer come out and look at it. That never happened however my housemate ran into the installer and mentioned this (he was never contacted by business) but said it was my 2 cats (yea 2 cats, one 12 years old to boot and doesn’t even move around), not to mention I KNOW cat damage (like the damage to this inside of the closet, inadvertently closed cat in closet)…This carpet is not only snagging it is running (something that would not expected while cats WALK across it). It is snagging in places where no one goes. TO add to my argument I might point out that the remnant I purchased, a higher quality carpet, has not ONE snag in it and this is a highly traveled area of the cats (food and litter box on other side of room)…not ONE snag. I could only image the shape of this cheap piece of crap if I had 2 children and a dog on it, under normal wear and tear (and not someone so anal about their flooring)…Overall the installation was not so great either, installer pushed seem at front door, instead of the cut/​lay necessary to hide seam on opposing wall, whereas it would have been covered by furniture. Now that seam is falling apart as cheapcrap carpet it «stretching»…ALL THIS IN LESS THAN A YEAR. NOPE… recommend these people… never. Actually after their insulting, aloof and unconcerned response to this disposable carpet, they aren’t even permitted to remediate. For all I know the manufacturer did recall this roll and this store kept the $$.
