Durango Steakhouse

Our favorite place to go. Best steaks and atmosphere. Prices are good. We go at least 2 to 3 times a week.

There is no way you will confuse Durango’s with Ruth Chris. It is a mid-​priced steakhouse serving decent portions of acceptable food. There steaks are nothing to write home about, restaurant prime they are not. However, they are reasonably priced for the quality received. There pork chops are actually very good as are their burgers.
Service is very good. Food is served quickly along with drinks. Most staff members have been here for years, usually, a good sign.
This is a decent choice in the Titusville area, which, is not the best town for quality dining.

We sat right away, kitchen doesn’t know what bake potato, no sour cream means, stake was 7 of 10, potato skins awesome service was great and it was busy. Very reasonable.

Awesome service! Incredible ribs and the Hawaiian chicken was out of this world!!! If you come to Titusville, make it a point to come here!!! Beyond worth it! Looks small and quaint but so beyond any expectation.

Definitely 5 stars. Their food is absolutely amazing. There bacon wrapped shrimp was to die for and the steak if one of the best I’ve ever had. We had come down to visit Florida and randomly found this restaurant, never expecting it to be so good. Wish we had one where we lived!

Durango is probably one of the better (best) places to dine in Titusville. We were staying nearby during a long weekend in Florida. It was a Friday night and Durango’s was surprisingly crowded. Apparently a lot of locals stop in which is always a good sign. We waited at the bar and had a drink and a free appetizer (for checking in on Unilocal!). They had about 4 beers on tap (nothing special) and a full bar. Even though it was crowded, service was OK. Once seated, we both enjoyed ribeyes. Pretty tasty. Remember — this is not a high end steakhouse, but pretty good, so set your expectations. It is the best place in Titusville, so enjoy!

The restaurant is very convenient for people checking in on best Western. We checked in around 8 pm and then was wondering about dinner, and finally decided to go in. I ordered crispy cheesy haddock, the fish came with choice of 2 sides, the quality was food was alright, my 2 sides were baked sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Those were really avg if not below avg. Service was good, so can’t complain

Again;went their this past Sunday and had The Stuff Fish with Crab meat and Mash potatoes. Always Excellent, and very helpful staff.

The first time we came here (a few weeks ago), it was awesome. Our server was fantastic– totally on top of her game; we never wanted for anything. Hubby ordered a blue cheese burger, which he says was delicious. I had the Santa Fe salad, which was AMAZING. The spicy chicken on top was cooked and seasoned perfectly, and the chipotle ranch dressing it comes with was really good.
We went back last week, and the food was just as good. The service was friendly but not nearly as attentive.
In summation, don’t let the fact that this place is attached to a hotel dissuade you. If you’re in the mood for a good burger, a massive baked potato, or an amazing salad, Durango is the spot in Titusville.

I wanted to hate this place based on many bad times at other Durangos which have all since closed. HOWEVER: THIS ONE WAS GOOD! It is classic western steakhouse. The best part is the sight and smell of the oak pit. Our server Melissa was amazing and very fun and engaging! Apps and sides were good and steaks and burgers were cooked spot on and oaky delicious! We left stuffed and happy. Brought me back to great places I grew up with in California, Colorado and Texas. YUM! Its look and décor is a bit shabby but its a great place for everything else.

Good food. GREAT service from James. If we lived closer here, it would be on top of the list fit regular stops!

The service is efficient.
The prices are a good range. You can get a $ 5 burger or a pricey steak. They know how to cook beef, that’s what they’re good at.
Fries are greasy.

I’ve been here a couple of times and each time has been pretty good. Its located in a weird location as its attached to a hotel. Never had to wait to be seated. Always encountered a friendly staff.
The steaks have always been very good. They usually have a 2 for 1 margarita special in which you can choose on the rocks or frozen. My suggestion would be to choose on the rocks because the frozen ones can tend to be a little watery. The strawberry is my favorite.
Everything is priced reasonably. Definitely recommend for families. This location is located right at I95 so its a good stop if you’re traveling.

Ok, so my fiancé is a trucker and I went with him this month. We were tired and sooooo hungry!!! We saw this place and I read the reviews and thought why not?! Well, we got there an hour before closing and decided we still have a ways to drive to our 90(delivery) so we got our food to go. My fiancé ordered the 16oz ribeye steak and I ordered the seafood scampi. It came with salad and we chose to order crab stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and my fiancé wanted chili for later. Yea lots of food lol but when your trucking left overs are your best friend. We got our food in 30min which was awesome. Everyone was very friendly and they honored our free appetizer coupon through Unilocal.I can tell you this, The steak was absolutely the star of the show!!! The most tender, juicy, medium cooked steak!!! I was able to cut it with a flimsy plastic knife!!! It was so delicious!!! The salads were crisp and yummy however, the stuffed mushrooms were bland, the seafood scampi was tasteless and it seemed like it was tossed with butter and pasta water. But the steak!!! Omg the steak!!! You must eat the steak! Everything else fell to the wayside therefore I gave it 3 stars. But please do yourself a favor and stick to the steak!!!

Actually got a decent rib eye hear. Very suprising dispose the location. It’s not Abe & Louis but it will do.

Sat outside on their patio with our dog. We had the crab stuffed mushrooms (5piece) as our (free Unilocal) appetizer. My Wife had the sirloin with baked potato. It received very good ratings since we all tried it. My daughter had the mahi mahi wrap — «it was OK» per her review. Since she had it without the dressing I can understand why it tasted bland. I had the lunch pork chop. Good lunch portion served over corn and black beans. It is spicy which I loved but no one else would touch. The Chili was awesome! Highly recommend it. My daughter ate half of mine.
Great service and nice location off of 95. Will keep this in mind for future travels.

Never eat here! Filthy knives, lousy food and mediocre service!!! This place only gets one star for being open on a very stormy Wednesday!

This was our second visit to Durango Steakhouse and both visits have been average. Tonight my wife had a top sirloin steak which she said was tasty, tender, and cooked to order, but she didn’t like the BBQ sauce that was on it. I had a half broiled chicken which was very tasty, but the breast meat was tough and somewhat dry. We both had garden salads which were fresh and crisp. I had a side of cole slaw which was very tasty. My wife’s side was fresh fruit which consisted of a half orange cut in thirds.
I like to enjoy a local draught beer when I eat out, but the usual litany of national beers, B, BL, M, ML etc. made me go for a bottle of the Boston brew. SA.
The wait staff was prompt and efficient. The water was delivered by a new trainee. She dumped a complete glass, water and ice all over the table. It was quite a show to see the various staff come out of the woodwork to remedy the situation. They were very apologetic about the whole thing.
During our meal, the wait staff only came back one time to ask if everything is ok. That’s all we would expect. Once is enough.
All in all, we enjoyed the food and will select something different the next time we return.

The food was great, service is so so, please stop asking me if my meal is ok. After the 3^rd time, if you hadn’t noticed, I was eating it. If it was wrong, you’d know about it.
Unfortunately — when it comes to the « Unilocal «app check in coupon, The server here at Durango was asked 3 times on how to redeem the coupon, the first response was given when my coffee arrived «I just don’t Know », the second response came when my salad was served «I’ll get someone to come over to your table, and the third response when my meal came out, 47 minutes later «I’ll go and get the manager for you «- No one ever came, no discount was ever received, all I got were excuses and he got a mere $ 5.62 tip on a $ 50.00 tab. I like to give 20%, but this guy just did not deserve it plus my Off the Menu cut of Beef was supposed to be a 28 ounce steak, came up short, should have been 3 inches thick, was less than 1 inch thick, supermarket ribeye. Cheated on the cut, cheated out of a discount, I won’t be back.
