Rapidly becoming my favorite TP hangout. Decent prices, always somewhere to sit, they don’t care if you eat your taco bell while you drink your drinks, and the security is ONPOINT.

My favorite spot in the area. The bartenders are always very prompt and polite. In the few altercations I’ve seen take place the bouncers were quick to make their presence known. Atmosphere is nice. Beer is priced well. Have yet to have to pay a cover. I would like to add that there is no stall door in the men’s bathroom which can be awkward and unpleasant at times and there is limited seating. I like the fact that they play the Hawks games. Enter thirsty, leave satisfied.

This is a proper irish bar in Tinley Park. We stopped in for a cold one after trolling oak park ave during the Tuesday car show. The beer is cold and it was packed with guys my age. The bartender was good and was showing ample cleavage. Always a plus with a bar packed with dudes. It was very dark. They made kiddie cocktails for my twins. My old man, Fogi and myself had a delicious ice cold miller lite. Not too many craft beers. Three generations of my family in this bar at the same time with a dear friend. Priceless.

Great little corner bar, nice building, the street it’s on has a «Main Street USA» feel and the front patio overlooks it all. It’s a nice place, open, friendly and inviting. Here’s the skinny: Doesn’t accept credit or debit cards but, there’s an ATM. You can«order in» food. Huge selection of liquors. Decently priced drinks. Awesome décor, very comfy cozy and warm. Here’s the fat: It was damn cold outside, I walked into a seriously warm environment. Lord it felt good! Teehan’s doesn’t accept ANY kind of credit card but, there is an excessively charging ATM in the corner. Unless you’re Don Trump, bring some greenbacks. Even though they don’t have a kitchen, they do allow you to order in or bring food in, pretty cool actually since there are a variety of local food stops around. Teehan’s has a nice selection of liquor stocked. Tey even had something called«Cow Pie» but, I was NOT feelin’ froggy enough to try it first time around… OR the second… probably not the 10th either. It’s probably not«terrible» but, just because it’s named Cow Pie, I’m going to stay away from it. Drinks are priced reasonably, $ 3.50 or $ 4.50 for an import. Not sure what Domestics are but, they’re probably cheap. Glenn Fiddich — $ 7.50 for a double on the rocks with a twist BTW. There is a lot of Irish décor. I especially like the«Nothing is to good for the Irish» sign above the bar. Lighting is great, very tranquil, and the Tiffany style lights(look up) give the place a nice flair. The only faults I can find is that the men’s room doesn’t have a door to the errr… how shall I put it… «Number Two» stall and the bathroom is a bit dated in general. I’ll come back from time to time, can’t wait to see what it’s like in the summer months. #SYOY!

The outside does not match the inside. Outside looks nice and classy, inside is a dive bar without a door on the men’s toilet stall, dirty, and a mix match of tables, old flooring, cheap bar stools. Oh and the place is cash only. With all that, people are friendly, ok place to chill for a drink or 2.

1 $ Drafts everyday! You can’t beat that. My only issue is that they don’t turn the jukebox on until 7. It’s a good neighborhood bar though

I mean, if you have nowhere else to go $ 1 beers are good. Just don’t expect to meet any women.

Good local dive bar. Cash only, darts, golden tee and a bunch of mismatched chairs and tables. Being a resident of tinley, but not having grown up here, I can say Teehans definitely has a townie feel to it. Not that, as an outsider, I was out of place or unwelcome. It was just more than obvious that I wasn’t one of them. Stop in before they tear it down and put in a movie theater.

Wernt there on a Sunday Night and the bar was full with guys. Young guys barely old enough to be twenty one held every seat at the bar. Is this a gay bar?

Nice little neighborhood bar. Bartenders and patrons always seem pretty friendly. Beer selection is pretty good and reasonably priced. A great spot to wait for the Metra to come while getting in some good beer and good conversation.

went to another bar before this one and went here because the drinks were not to bad on prices and it was fun to play the darts and not have a huge crowd of people at 1130pm on a friday in january. it was very cold that night so it was not a bad place to play and have 2 drinks and left to another bar. it was ok but it would not be my first choice on a place for friends on a weekend

Its pretty boring there. Good prices though. They don’t take credit cards though. Small place and when its really busy which hasn’t been lately when I’ve gone there its hard to get any service.

Teehans is your typical neighborhood pub. If you frequent there enough, you will find that the same people grace the bar stools and chat with the bar tenders. I am a fan of the dollar drafts on a casual night out.

I am compelled to write about my beloved Teehan’s since it won’t be long before she closes her doors and moves to a new location. Teehan’s has been serving dollar drafts as long as I have been going. Too long so don’t ask. With a hearty group of regulars and a bar staff that seems to never forget a face or a name, Teehan’s is a true gem. Even local Irish punk band The Tossers have written a song about Teehan’s and like they say«you’re always welcome.»
