Classy Nails & Spa

I have been going to Classy Nails & Spa since they opened the location in Tinley. I have to say, I have enjoyed my experience every single time I have gone. I have seen several of the nail technicians and Lu is my favorite by far! She gives me exactly what I ask for every single time. Her attention to detail is always spot on and to top it off, the location is super convenient for me. My subdivision is only a few steps away! I will be there to night for a new no-​chip mani. The complementary Mimosas aren’t bad either!

I had a really great experience here. I used to go to CiCi’s a few parking lots over, they were good at first but service got really bad over time; not sure what happened. Anyway, I’m glad Classy opened up, they stay open til 8pm on Sat which was very convenient.
The environment is so soothing and relaxing and they give a full arm and hand massage after nail service.
I went to Cindy, she’s awesome. Will go back again!

My nails are simply okay. For $ 40 I expected excellent. The acrylic is very thick & I told Cindy several times the nail wasn’t centered. She did fix it however my nails look more like claws. Will I return, probably not. I anticipated more out this higher end nail salon.

This was definitely my last time coming here. I was there Sunday ⁴⁄₁₇ for a mani and pedi, the nail tech who did my pedicure is Kim. She’s a very nice lady but has no clue as to what she is doing. I had to tell her several times to STOP running the file across my skin which in turn was a burning nightmare when she applied rubbing alcohol to my toes. Furthermore she doesn’t know how to use the tools properly, my cuticles look terrible and the polish job is even worse. My 7yr old would have done a better polish. My bigger issue is they have these unqualified technicians giving you service but charge an arm and a leg. Luu however did a great a job with my nails but the pedicure I received is why I am no longer a customer.

The place is busy for sure but our one hour wait for three became an hour and forty-​five minutes and only two were seated for standard pedicures. What ever happened to service coordination??? Third party was offered a seat after more than two hours…

I came in on Friday the staff was nice but the nail tech that I got was this man he was really rough and he was in a rush I’m pretty sure is because his coffee that he ordered with another nail tech was waiting for him in the back room. He would yank on my hand and the nails didn’t even come out that great I told him square and they looked fanned out. When he polished them he didn’t even get all the nail this is my second time trying one of these classy nails spa I thought it was going to better service but I was mistaken.

I was impressed by my pedicurist (if that’s a word ha!) using gloves! you also can actually see them take your clean instruments out of the package freshly opened! I love sterilization! My guy had beautiful artwork of a horse/​stallion on his left arm. This was a good sign because the work he did on my toes was that of an artist! If you want a beautiful design in your toes of $ 5.00 he’s the one to request! They also have the biggest variety of colors in OPI and Essie and a few other brand names! Your eyes will light up with the assortment of you’re like me that is it was a great experience!

First Visit, it was the most serene experience. Professionalism was on point and the overall experience feels like home. I will be returning to this nail salon.

I had a pedicure by Kim and no chip manicure by Jake, and I’m so happy with the experience. The customer service was amazing… I highly recommend! I was able to get in and out in a very reasonable amount of time, and they also had the exact color I had been searching for!

I’ve never been to a place like this and sadly I’ve never had my nails done. So today was a first. I got a full set of acrylic nails, a pedi, and my brows done. Everything was fantastic. I came out of there feeling and looking like a million bucks.
Grace was amazing. She did my pedi and my brows. I loved talking to her. She was so personable and friendly. My toes look amazing and I was so relaxed when she was done.
Mai did my acrylic nails. She was so detailed and worked hard to make them perfect. After I left, I went shopping and people noticed my nails and commented on how nice they looked.

Its taken me forever to get around to this review but finally here I am!
Imagine my surprise when I finally took my husband advice and decided to try this nail salon and fell completely in love. Not only do they do great nails but Sidney is a brow genius! She definitely created a masterpiece from the disaster that was left of my eyebrows (bad threading experience). The ambiance, professionalism, and service is second none every time I visit. Jake is my go to nail tech, however Tammy did an amazing job of filling in when he was absent. There was a bit of a language barrier but we got through it and my nails came out exactly how I asked so for that Tammy THANKYOU!!!
The reason im giving four stars instead of 5 are for two reasons which are minor and Im sure was a result of poor communication or lack of understanding; whether it be on my part or the salons’.
1) Two of my nails broke within a week of getting them done I called and asked can I come in now and is there a guarantee or will I have to pay. My question wasn’t answered (I should’ve pushed for an answer) however, I was told they were busy and to come at 12 and id be taken right away. It was 11:30 when I called so I specifically asked will I be out by 12:30/45 because I have to work. The answer was yes well needless to say I get there and waited til 12:30 w/​o being seen so I left and said I’d return the next day not a problem.
I come back this time with my daughter I reiterated to situation to the front desk again and they took us right away. when all was said and done I paid $ 17 for my broken nails. In their defense he did fix a third that was about to break as well. I had no problem paying for the service I just wish it was clearly articulated.
2) I was scheduling an appointment for 4:30 soak off and full set before confirming it I specifically said again I have to be out by 6 is this enough time to complete my services. I was told its plenty of time a soak off is about 10min (now ive never had my nails soaken off so I don’t know). I arrive in time for my appt and was immediately seen, well it took about 30 min to take my nails off completely so of course I wouldn’t be out in time. They were very accommodating and I returned the next day to have my services completed.
I write all this to say time is something you cant get back. Yes I am always in a rush it seems but I try to squeeze things in when I get the free time and its an inconvenience to repeatedly have to come back and I hate to make the nail techs feel rushed too.

I have only recently become that girl who takes care of her nails. Fortunate for me, I found Classy Nails — Tinley Park location. It’s a beautiful, spacious, serene spa-​like setting. Everything is organized, sanitized and in place. My ‘go to nail’ tech has been Mai. I have gone to her faithfully since she did my first no chip nails for me. They were so pretty! She’s very soft spoken with a pleasant demeanor, pays attention to detail and is not rough and abrasive. I’ve either had my nails scraped too hard or my legs beat to death during the leg massage with the pedicure… It hurts because I have skinny Minnie legs. She does not abuse me! I appreciate that!
I don’t have much of a creative imagination when it comes to making a decision on nail color and/​or design, but she always has ideas that I’m willing to try, and look good as a result. Even my pedicures have been a success. Usually I leave feeling like half the job was done (a rough heel is the worst), but I’ve no reason to complain thus far.
The front desk has also provided pleasant customer service and advice… which is also appreciated. No yelling from afar and looking around at a room full of masked faces wondering ‘who said that?’ There is a nice reception area where someone is always there to assist. So with that being said, I’m a fan of Classy Nails. Hope it stays that way.

Love this place! My new fav place to get nails done! My no chips last much longer than other places! The place is more relaxing than other places too.

I love this place! Kim did my pedicure and was wonderful! She did a perfect job! I walked in and was greeted right away. The girl the the front counter was talkative and kind. The design is cool, relaxing and clean. They had a TUN of polish colors to choose form. All the polish was organized by brand form dark to light. The massage chair is high tech and hugs you. Yes! It hugs you. My pedicure was cake batter. It smelled soooo goood! They put this warm pillow around your neck. I can’t wait to go back! And can’t say enough good things about this place!

The best of the best, when it comes to self pampering, this is the only place to go! Extremely clean, sanitary and not a «chop shop». If you are looking for the average place, this isn’t it! Love everything from the décor to the pleasantly welcoming staff. Give ‘em a try you won’t regret it.

I’ve been here 3 or 4 times now, and have been very satisfied each time. The staff is courteous, friendly and the nail techs that I’ve had have all done a great job on my no-​chip manicure (Lu, Danny and Jack). The salon is very clean and well maintained, and it’s an obvious step above the run-​of-​the-​mill nail shops that I’ve frequented in the past. Kudos to the owner for recognizing the importance of nice décor, good customer service and cleanliness.

I normally come here and get GOOD service but today was an exception. I’ve never experienced such terrible customer service from what’s suppose to be a spa like nail salon. The guy handling my nails and pedicure was soooo RUDE. I asked him a question about my nails and he jumped up and said «you’re trying to start trouble and someone else have to do your nails.» Since when is asking a question starting trouble, this is unbelievable, now I’m sitting here waiting for another technician to finish up my nails. No apology was given by anyone in the shop. This is UNACCEPTABLE behavior!
UPDATE: The manager apologized but only after reading my review. He goes on to say how the reviewers will only see this first review and not the fact that he finally provides a half ass apology. In a nutshell he told me to go to another shop if they couldn’t make a mistake here and there. He then named the other shops in the area I could get service from in the future (Cici and some other shop). The sad part is the next guy Jake did end up doing a good job but the first guy unacceptable behavior and arrogant manager has left a bad taste in my mouth, not to mention I had to wait another 10 – 15 minutes before someone else could finish my service. I have a bunch of friends who will no longer come here either. I will take your advice and go somewhere else but not the ones that was mentioned. I will stick to SHIC nails where your business is appreciated and customer service is OUTSTANDING.

Horrible staff. Charged my card twice after making racial comments to me and my friend.

I tried the other place in the shopping center and walked out of there… right over to Classy Nails! So glad I did! Helen provided an excellent manicure. She was pleasant and very detailed. She offered me a bottle of water to sip on. The décor is pleasant and has a new feel to it. Everyone was very polite. I think I waited 30 seconds after I selected my color choice. I would highly recommend this place.

Just got a pedicure here and it was amazing! The salon is so spa like and beautiful. The setup is nice with the pedicure area in its own section. I definitely want to come back and try the other services!
