Used them as a recommended installer from
they were great and reasonably priced. I later (months later) got new tires and rims that I was installing myself. When I had an issue getting one of the lug nuts off I took the car up to them and they not only got the lug nut off but they also put the new tire on for free. I don’t live in the area anymore but I still drive the 30 min to use them.

Hillen Tires cheated me. It’s too bad because I have used them to replace my tires since I moved to Baltimore four years ago– I went to them on a recommendation. First, Hillen will never fix your tire if there’s a leak– they ALWAYS have to replace them. The last time I went was the kicker; I had a leak in my tire, took it into be fixed and they — of course– said it couldn’t be fixed — I had to replace it. Bought the new tire for over $ 100; two days later one of my tires went flat. Took it to Gerry’s. Gerry’s fixed it easily then told me they found Tire filler foam in the tire. My husband had filled it with the foam before we took the leaky tire to Hillen. Hillen had replaced the WRONG TIRE! I called Hillen to complain, and the guy who answered was just full of excuses. Never said he was sorry. Never asked to make it right. Extremely rude. Never again. If you want friendly;y service and someone who actually doesn’t try to sell you something– go to Gerry’s.

Good service, but make sure you reserve your tires before you go. I wasn’t aware of this so I showed up to get new tires and was told they would not be available until 2 days later. This was after calling the weekend before to see if they had them in stock. The person I talked to said yes and that I didn’t need to do anything other than show up with my car. I even explained that I would be coming the following weekend and was told that wouldn’t be an issue. ???

This place has wasted my time for the last time. Not only did they have my vehicle for three days for a State inspection and repairs because their employees do not communicate properly between each other but after the repairs were made they failed my vehicle for window tint. Fine. I was told exactly, «Just bring it back after you get the tint of the windows and we will give you the Inspection certificate.» I drove the car back and was told I could get my certificate because the inspector was not there. I live 30+ minutes from Hillen Tire and this wasted my time. I was not told to call ahead or schedule an appointment. I was simply told to bring the car back and get my certificate. This is highly unprofessional. Never again. Hillen Tire & Auto will never get another single, solitary dollar of my hard-​earned money. My time is worth more than that to me.
