In April, 2013, Patty Barrick and her husband, Harry, opened the seven-room studio to begin their mission to help area residents experience the healing benefits of massage therapy services tailored to meet their unique needs. Unlike many area massage retailers, Patty, Harry and the team at Elements aim to create a niche in the increasingly competitive industry.

I have been getting massages for the past two years and just moved to the area. Looking for a new massage therapist was a little overwhelming with all the options out there. I went with this location because of the great deal for first time clients ($ 40 off!). My goodness, I’m glad I did. I could go on and on about this massage but I will sum it up with this: I fell asleep during the massage. It was that good and relaxing. The therapist listens to concerns, explains her plan, and checks in with you during the process. Clean, friendly, great service. It was so relaxing I forgot the name of my massage therapist but I think it was Jen. She was fantastic and checked in afterwards and explained what she discovered about my shoulder and neck pain. She was professional and really client-centered. I will make sure to find out her name for future appointments!

This was very much a chain, like massage envy, which is fine if you just want a massage, but not if you want a relaxing experience. The waiting area was more like a dentist waiting room than a spa. The whole time I was waiting for my massage, she kept pestering me about joining, and when I finally convinced her I wasn’t interested, she was flat out rude. The massage itself was fine, but by then I was turned off by the front desk, so I will not be going back.

My boyfriend and I are here for his first massage, and these ladies made his first experience a memorable one. From the time I called to schedule the appointment up until it was time to leave they were attentive in every way. They are a membership massage company, but they aren’t pushy like some of these other places. I had a deep tissue massage and its my first since I had my son, Marlene was awesome and my boyfriend had Shirley she put his mind in a state of tranquility. Let me just start by saying I’ve been a massage therapist for years, and I know what a great massage is! The décor is simple, yet elegant. Some wellness centers and spas have tons of products out front, and their priority is to sell you stuff you don’t need. But, let me tell you: Elements only needs to sell one thing, massage, and that’s because it’s the best product around.
My therapist listened attentively to all of the issues I was experiencing, and tailored every part of the massage to what I needed. This was not a cut-and-dry massage; she used firmer and more specific pressure where I had adhesions, and gentler pressure where I was having painful flare-ups. The lotion amount that was used provided a perfect amount of glide, but not so much that she was slipping off my muscles. Even with the amount of pain I was in before I got on her table, the care and attention that went into my massage helped me relax to the point of falling asleep.
Since it was my first time, it was only $ 59! They explained that normally their price is $ 99, so I got a huge deal. I felt like their prices are well worth the service, and as far as both price and quality are concerned, they’re the best in the area. Plus, they give you chocolate at the end!

I have received numerous massages in my lifetime, however, none of them have amounted to the ones I have received at Elements. I have been massaged by all the therapists here, and I can honeslty say I have been treated like royalty. In other clinics, I could tell that I was just a paycheck. The therapists didn’t care what part of my body I needed more or less attention. The pressure was either too deep or too light. There was never an in between. This never occured at Elements! From the moment I walk in the door, I am greeted by a friendly receptionists who always has a smile on her face. My first time here she was very knowledgeable on the therapists and their talents, and she was equally as knowledgeable on massage. She also offered me a bottle of water while I waited for my appointment. I believe her name was Amanda. This kindness and care didn’t stop just at the receptionist desk. When my therapist came out to greet me, she also had a huge smile on her face. As she pulled me back to the room she reviewed my in take form and talked to me about the amount of pressure and any areas I wanted her to focus on. From the moment she lotioned up to the end of the massage, I could tell that she was very passionate about her job. From this moment I knew that for her I wasn’t just another client or a paycheck. I felt very comfortable with her, I could tell that she cared about the quality of the massage she was given. If I am not mistaken her name was Meredith. Thanks to them, I can now call Elements Theraputic Massage my massage home! I give Elements 5 out of 5 stars! I highly recommend getting a massage here if you haven’t.

I’ve received several excellent, deep-tissue, high-strength massages here– but as with all other multiple-therapist clinics, your experience will vary with therapist! I was offered an initial choice of a strong-armed person vs a more «relaxation» therapist– I chose strong arm, and glad I did! This is smaller than the Massage Envy that used to be there, but each room is a bit larger. They have some kinks in their booking system– the front desk staff has complained to me the software is glitchy! Otherwise good massage, good price, right by my gym– can’t complain!
