Simply elegant, tasteful and delicious food served in the middle of dairy farms on the Norther Oregon coast… Incongruous, I know, but the chef here is inspired and the food doesn’t disappoint. Add to that an AMAZING building structure, beautiful and interesting décor and fantastic views of a handsome golf course and you’re wondering why this place isn’t packed every night. True, it IS fine dining and you pay a price for that, but the service is excellent, the surroundings as upscale as anything in Portland and the overall experience is one of satisfaction and happiness. You won’t be sorry.

I traveled to Oregon this past weekend and found an amazing restaurant and chef. There was nothing on the menu that I could eat(due to a rare illness) but I noticed they had the chef’s name on the menu, that gave me hope. I told the waitress some foods I could eat and the chef made me a super good fettuccini primavera which was not on the menu. This GREAT restaurant is in Tillamook, OR at the golf course. It was really, really good. I had a salad(no dressing), the fettuccini and a crème brulee. Three course meal at a white tablecloth restaurant. Excellent tasting food. It’s called: Koko’s Restaurant and Lounge 7300 Alderbrook Rd. Tillamook, OR97141 503−842−6413

Wow. This was a great find! We were wanting a nice, romantic, upscale seafood dinner with a view, good wine and steak. Check, check, check.

5 stars? Yes because it’s in Tillamook for pete’s sake and it’s good. Really good. First of all, you need to know it’s a golf course restaurant but you don’t need to be golfing or even like golf to enjoy yourselves at this place. Food is really very good. Great salads. Great burgers.(Have the Wagyu Beef Burger — fantastic). Really tasteful northwest style décor and a fine menu executed with professionalism and delivered with friendly local aplomb. Worth a drive. Unexpectedly good. Really.

Loved this pace. Best food in Tillamook. Classy, but not in your face fancy. The patio upstairs is perfect on a nice day. Beautiful golf course scenery, quiet and just one of the best dinners I have ever had. If you want wine plan on buying a bottle though. The selection by the glass isn’t great. I had the chicken picatta one night and the salmon the next. Picatta was a home for sure. Fiancé had seafood fettuccine and the steak. Seafood fettuccine was legit! Definitely will come here again next time we are in OR.

If you want a nice dinner go here. Casual downstairs dressy upstairs you can eat off the same menu. We had steak dinners, filet and rib eye, both cooked wonderfully. Pretty salad made in a cucumber wrap was delicious, the waitresses were very nice and competent.

This restaurant was rated highly so I took a shot and decided to try it out. We were seated quickly(we were the only ones there on a Saturday afternoon at 3:30). The server offered drinks, but they were out of CO2, so we were offered bottled sodas. The sodas came, flat and had floaty stuff in the glasses. The floaty stuff was also in the water. The server removed them and said it was from the ice machine. She offered us new water without ice(no, thanks… I don’t want warm water). We went without beverages. I asked the server a few questions about the menu, and she didn’t know the answers to any of them… she ran back and forth asking the cooks for information. She needs training. We waited approx 30 minutes, and then the server came out and said«do you want your salads?» um yes we have been waiting(with three children). Salads came and they with the bread was the best part of our meal. We ordered two Rib Eye steaks, both were overcooked and tough. The kids macaroni was okay, grilled cheese was greasy. Desserts were never offered. We got our bill and Two sodas were still on there. I asked the server if she was going to remove them, and she said, «Oh, let me go check with my manager», really, we didn’t drink the sodas with floaty stuff! We won’t be back…

Read some reviews that this was a hidden gem. Too bad the gem was a cubic zirconium instead of a diamond… Interior is nice looking, funky bathroom sinks. No host(ess). 1 server with shadow covering dining room and bar, who ended up missing seating a couple of parties who came, waited and left. Crab cakes ok, a little soggy. «Ran out» of gumbo, even though we were the only ones there at 5:30-ish. So ordered the rib eye instead, medium. First try came back more than well done. Second try came back medium-well… Would have been futile to send it back again, but obviously the cook has a different version of medium steak. Salmon Oscar looked okay, but a little scant on the amount of crab. Comped a dessert, but didn’t make up for non-medium steak.

«hidden gem» describes this pretty well — we came on a Tuesday night; the place was nearly empty but the waitress was friendly and the food was terrific!

While in town on business, I had the chance to eat at this hidden gem. There isn’t much in the way of advertising on Hwy 101 so I guess you just have to know it’s there… or use Unilocal. The ambiance is lovely and there is a nice outdoor seating area with a view of the golf course which would be great in the summer. We had dinner and the food was beautifully prepared and delicious. I was amazed to find such fine dining tucked away in Tillamook. The place was nearly empty so I’m hoping more people find out about it so it stays open. I highly recommend a visit if you’re in town or just passing through. Prices were reasonable given the quality of the food.

You get what you pay for. Other reviewers have mentioned the price but few restaurants at the coast offer this combination of quality food, great service, classy décor, and ambience. My friends ordered rock fish($ 20) and raved about it, I ordered chicken marsala($ 18) that was equally good. The sides did not disappoint and the salad was not only delicious but served with a unique presentation. We will definitely return not only for special occasions but just to get a great meal at a fair price.

The food is great but a bit spendy. The ambience and décor is outstanding. You have a beautiful view of the golf course. The bathrooms are clean and very classy. I would consider going again.

The husband and I have been here three times to the bar area(haven’t tried the upstairs restaurant yet, but am looking forward to it). At this point, they close pretty early(10 or 11?), as there aren’t many people out at such a classy place in Tillamook after hours. The drinks were strong, but good… service is hit or miss. We had wonderful service one night with a big party. The server was running her rear end off, and they even kept the kitchen open longer than usual to accommodate us. Another night, we were ignored for a little bit, and had to ask our server where we should order our drinks. That night they were also supposed to have karaōke, which didn’t happen. Sad. The food is delicious. We have tried the teriyaki chicken wings and also the garlic cheese fries, which included some very memorable blue cheese. Top notch comfort food is always a plus in my book. All in all, I really enjoy this place, and would like to show it off to some of my friends/family when they are in town, but the early closure sometimes thwarts our efforts to get people in the doors.
