Servpro of Tigard/Tualatin

I cant even begin to tell you about how great of a company this is! Pipe busted, water in our crawlspace, plumber cant fix til water is gone and its safe. Servpro (recommended from my insurance co) came out the same day as the phone call and immediately got to work! Elmer, Hector and John went ABOVE and BEYOND with their professionalism, courtesy, and work ethic. If there was a way to give these guys and Servpro a higher rating I would! Thank you so much for helping me in this super stressful situation. I do appreciate it!

I called on a weekend when a pipe burst. They sent someone out immediately and then came daily to check an update. My tech was Javier and he asked what time was best and then was on time to appointments, very nice and respectful. They always promptly answered the phone and responded to my needs. No complaints.

We had major water in a downstairs basement. I called ServPro, and they had someone to my house by that afternoon. They were polite and explained every step thoroughly. They continued to follow up throughout the process. I was very satisfied with their service.

We recently had our laundry room flood and I am so happy we called servepro this happened after hours and they came and stayed at our home until 1:30 in the morning getting things cleaned up and prepared for the next day. They explained everything they had to do every step of the way which we appreciated. When our insurance adjuster was trying to tell me that we didn’t need a hotel the supervisor in our home talked to them to get a hotel approved for our family for the rest of the week. I would trust this company with my home any day! Extremely professional and they picked everything up as they worked never leaving a mess.

I wish I had read the reviews before we accepted the Insurance adjusters recommendation to use this company. All the negative reviews I read here were reinacted at my house. If you are smart enough to read this first, go to another company and dont even think twice. We literally waited months for this company to give us a simple quote. I called the representative 3 times over that span and each time he told me it would be ready that night… and each time it never came. Finally, I wised up and demaned that they act, only to be told, «it wouldn’t hurt our feelings if you went somewhere else»… so we did. In only a few hours, we had the work scheduled with a rival company that was honest and straight-​forward, traits these guys lacked. Do not use this company, or at least known what you are getting into. There is a reason that no positive reviews exist here.

Beware this place is a scam. It’s claims to get things «back to new» or «like it never happened.» They tell my landlord they will fix everything and then they play phone tag with me for about a month. Every time they called I would ask questions and they would not have any answers so I would get «we don’t know we will have to call you back» which I never did get a call back from Angela who obviously seems to hate her job and anyone that calls, maybe a career change might help your saltiness! Kathy also seemed extremely rude. They finally show up after they told me they were showing up a day earlier, took the day off work remind you, only I get a call around 9am saying they can’t make it today it will have to be the next day. Already starting off bad. Two young kids show up on the day after they were suppose to show and they start going to work. They tear carpet up throw away padding that got wet underneath, tear a wall out and also tear half of my living room ceiling off. I asked when they would be putting up the new walls and such to get things back to normal and they said «oh we don’t do that you will have to hire a contractor.» Thanks serv pro you have left me with a gaping hole in my ceiling, no wall in my room and my carpet all torn back. You have made a mediocre problem into a catastrophe. Landlord doesn’t live in this state and they tried to get every dime they could out of him and didn’t tell him that when they were done that he would have to build a new house! Place is a joke I would recommend that people stay away from serv pro Tigard. I don’t know if all of serv pro is crooked but this branch sure seems like it is so beware! If I could give it negative stars I would totally do that!

We contacted Servpro a couple of years ago about a shower leaking problem. We had an estimator come look at the damage and from there it was determined that we could make the repairs ourselves. We were very appreciative of the guidance at that time and were never asked to pay for any services (and none were performed).
We now have another leak possibly from the exterior of the house and called them since our previous experience was good and seemed very honest. The estimator never showed up because the person answering the phone didn’t record the appointment time that was set. I waited until about a half hour after the appointment time to call and find out what had happened. I was matched up with the person I spoke with the previous day who said that she just totally forgot. Now, she had the system in front of her and could see our request from a couple of years ago. With an attitude (as if we had done something wrong) she wanted to know now if they are just wasting their time coming out again like last time, or if we would actually be hiring them. I began explaining that if the work required their services, we would be hiring, but then cut myself off and said that I’d prefer to work with another company if that attitude was how she treated customers.
I certainly realize that companies must perform billable work to stay in business, but I am also aware that we have the right to choose. I will be choosing a business that I feel is both honest and respectful of their clients. Who knows, maybe I caught her at a bad time? I will never know because I will be taking my business somewhere else.

About a year ago, I had a major kitchen flooding issue in my rental house. My landlord’s insurance adjuster recommended Servpro to get everything taken care of… Things started out fine and then quickly turned awful.
1) They left a RAZORBLADE in the middle of the kitchen floor. I had two crawling-​age babies and that was so far beyond unacceptable. I called the main office to tell them about it and no one really seemed to care.
2) Somewhere along the way, our change jar «vanished». Lovely.
3) A YEAR later, after everything was supposedly done, my landlord received a mystery bill from Servpro for a service they never even told her wouldn’t be covered by insurance. PLUS all sorts of interest and penalties! It would be one thing if this had occurred during the whole ordeal, or even a month later, but A YEAR?! I’m sorry, but I’m pretty sure you can’t start charging late fees and interest unless you’ve actually sent other bills in the first place. WTF?!
I could go on, but suffice it to say I would never in a million years recommend this terrible company to anyone.
