Business Owner

It has been a dream of mine to work in the event planning industry. I went to Western Oregon University to get a degree is Communication. During college, I planned many campus and community events like homecoming, tree lighting ceremony, dances, concerts, and so much more. I worked at David Bridal for a couple years working as a runner and customer service rep for alterations. I volunteered with the Tigard Area Chamber of Commerce to help with their Shining Stars event. I started working at the Tigard Area Farmers Market helping with set up, customer service, and take down. I got promoted to Assistant Manager and now work with marketing, recruiting volunteers, and organizing the market. I have also worked at a local event venue as their Event Liaison. I was hands on on the day of the event. I helped with everything from set up to event management. I am always keeping up with event trends by going to trade shows and doing research.
