History
Established in 2009.
My name is Susie Waki. I’ve been working with and training dogs for over 12 years. I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and an Certified Nose Work Instructor. I want to share what I’ve learned about reward-based dog training with you and your canine companion! With love, patience and commitment you can have the dog you’ve always wanted. I will teach you a loving way to communicate with your dog that does not attempt to dominate or control your dog.
My belief in the healing power of dogs has given me the opportunity to work with organizations that promote the animal-human bond by matching dogs with young people. I am the dog trainer and coach for the youth at Project POOCH a program that matches shelter dogs with incarcerated youth. I am a volunteer board member for The Little Dog Laughed therapy program. I have also trained service dogs for Autism Service Dogs of America, a non-profit organization that prepares service dogs to work for children with autism.
