Established in 1993.

RJ Sax was opened in 1993 by two local Marin County Musicians; Junella North and Ron Kelly. Their love for music inspired the kicker on the name of the store to be their favorite instrument, The Saxophone. Hence, R J Sax. After a few years in biz Sax became the local purveyor of Authentic Hawaiian Shirts and musically themed apparel. To this day we still sell Authentic Hawaiian Shirts from Tommy Bahama, Reyn Spooner, Avanti, Tori Richards and Margarita Ville as well as the latest San Francisco Giants Shirts. We have e great collection of Neon signs to keep the environment exciting and continue the Party Atmosphere From Sam’s Anchor Café which is directly across from our front door. We both have a lot of fun shopping for our store and sharing the hidden treasures we find during our travels around the World. Stop in and say Hi, hang out and visit. After 24 years of performing around the S.F. Bay Area and operating several fine Art Galleries Junella and Ron found a perfect spot for their Dream Gallery and Retail Store. Being a Talented Painter Junella finally had a Showcase for her work. Ron was happy to sit behind the counter and work on his computer Graphics and play the Guitar when the whim hit him. It turned into their home away from home and they have made hundreds of friends from all around the World! Come by and say Hi!
