Just returned from an aborted cruise in to Paradise Cay Harbor. Little to absolutely no communication was available with Harbor Master. As a result slips were not timely assigned and one boat was required to leave though arrangements had been attempted weeks earlier. Slips were silted in and boats had to wait in until high tide to exit. I would say the harbor is poorly managed… but that would imply that there was some management. We will not return.

We recently cruised into Paradise Cay Yacht Harbor. Although located in a beautiful setting communication with the harbor and harbor master is nonexistent. They do not return phone calls or emails. Our cruise was moved last minute to another harbor because they said slips were not available after we were already there.
Their website says, «Newly constructed Paradise Cay Yacht Harbor has deep water berthing to accomodate boats of all sizes up to 110 ft. X 24 ft.» It is very obvious they do not dredge as many of our boats were stuck in the mud because slips were silted in.
It is very poorly managed. I would not sail in here again!

I have only ever kayaked outta here so thats all i can comment on. There are about 6 public parking spaces. The rest are private and beling to the private marina. Adjacent or behind the yacht club are a couple nice his and hers public restrooms. Folks there were nice and let us launch off the pier otherwise there is no public launch for motorboats much less kayaks or canoes. At high tide you might be able to get in near the public side but not at low tide — too much mud.
