Thurmont Eye Care

My wife had her first eye doctor appointment today and had a great experience with this office! They were very kind and helpful to her. We will recommend this business to anyone seeking an eye doctor.

I would much rather support a small business rather than a big chain because good small businesses thrive on exellent customer service, personal attention and quality of merchandise and care. Thurmont Eye Care lives up to all of these expectations.
Dr. Carren is very thorough with her exams and took the time to answer all questions. She explained the mechanics of the testing procedures and shared the results. The staff at Thurmont Eye Care did not dissappoint either. They were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They did not rush my decision of choosing frames and offered insightful advice that I would never thing about. (I appreciate the personalized time because glasses are a full time accessory on your face! If you don’t like them, you can’t hide or adjust like you can with a wrong haircut or makeup.)
I loved the service and loved this place and started recomending it immediately (as in as soon as I got home and talked to my family about my appointment… how often is that the first thing you talk about when you walk in the door?)

Dr. Carren is a wonderful, caring doctor and person. Her first line of business is making sure her patients are comfortable and receiving the best eye care. I’ve been there 4 times now once without an appointment because I thought I had contact stuck on my eye and couldn’t get out. She took me right back and checked. It wasn’t in my eye and I felt very silly and as though I wasn’t her time. But she said «no such thing I would rather you come to me and check.» Another thing I love about her, is she walks each of her patients out to the front after our appointment. She truly is a stellar person and doctor. I will never go to another doctor! Her staff are just as wonderful and helpful. Great services and wide variety of glasses. Dr. Carren is very good with children. We take our children there and she makes them both feel very comfortable. The staff is super friendly and very helpful too!

Great customer service, beautiful facility and I can’t say enough about the time Dr. Carren took to get to know me as a patient.
