ATMOSPHERE
I visited for the first time around 3 AM on a Saturday morning to hang out with a friend for their birthday. Although it was only a handful of customers, people would still stop in if only for a bottled beer. The clientele were all friendly, welcoming and full of conversation. It is my understanding that McGee’s Tavern opened here in February 2011. It seems good for small groups.
STAFF AND SERVICE
The fully stocked bar was operated by a male and a female bartender that joined in conversations with patrons. Drinks were served to specifications with an eagerness to please. Drinks are deliciously flavorful and nicely priced. The spot has a pool table near the back, festively lit backgrounds and an overall cheerful décor. The restroom was tidy and well supplied.
SUMMARY
I left with a good feeling about the place and look forward to returning again so that I can give a more informative update. It is my advice that you go, it is a comfortable spot!
