The Mother-​of-​the-​Bride gets her hair done here on a weekly basis now that she lives in Three Rivers, Michigan, full-​time. But I didn’t know that. So when we descended on the city for the wedding, I had sort of resigned myself to wearing my hair in a home-​do, D-​I-​Y, you know, the ol’ curling iron, blow dryer in the hotel room stylo.
When I heard the wet-​sets were $ 10.00, I thought to myself «hey, I can’t resist a bargain! But will I have any hair left? Will they ‘pick-​pick-​pick’ at my hair while its wet with a fine tooth comb and yank all of the hair out from the root?»
The answer is NO THEY DID NOT. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB!
These women, Jody (my shampoo/​setter) and Amy (my stylist), did an EXCELLENT JOB. If I lived here in Three Rivers, MI, I would ONLY get my wet sets there. I was totally, completely, and pleasantly surprised. They are different from me. Their client base is totally different from me. I am quite sure they are not too used to doing hair like mine on a regular basis. But you could not tell that from the way they treated my hair. They were gentle, thorough, inquisitive, and willing to take a little of the «customer input», even requesting it sometimes.
I love my hair. It came out soft, fluffy, curly, and it smells WONDERFUL! i WISH I COULD GO TO THIS SALON EVERY WEEK.
