I’m a life-​long resident of Springfield, Massachusetts. My educational background includes a diploma from Cathedral High School, a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from AIC in 1997 in which I also earned the Marketing in Action award. Currently, I am attending AIC for my Master’s degree in Public Administration which I will receive in May 2014. I am especially proud of my three daughters — Michele, Danielle and Kendall and my two grandsons, Jonathan and Ashley. Among others, my roots belong to a long line of people who have fought for this country including both grandfathers and an uncle who served in World War II and my father-​in-​law who served in Korea. After losing my uncle and both my in-​laws, I began to realize the high profit margin funeral homes were making from the sale of caskets and urns, and hence, in January 2013 I opened Alternative Options Affordable Caskets and Urns
