History
Established in 2011.
The gallery was established in October of 2011 through a generous donation from the gallery’s namesake, William Rolland. The first exhibition included bronze statuary and paintings from his personal collection, which is being donated to the Gallery’s permanent collection over time. Since its inception, the gallery has hosted a variety of exhibits, including Western Salon in partnership with the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Library and the Bob Eubanks Collection; Resonating Images I: 1900 – 1950, which featured representational masterpiece paintings, drawings and prints from the first half of the 20th century; and Resonating Images II, featuring works by modern and contemporary masters. Previous artists exhibited include Chuck Close, Fernando Botero, Andy Warhol, David Hockney, and Pablo Picasso. The gallery has also featured work from a variety of genres, such a photography, sculpture, ceramics, and interior design.
