I didn’t even know where to start for my hair and makeup to attend my son’s wedding. I wasn’t from the area, and was limited to where I could go. To say I got lucky finding Veronica is an understatement. Veronica accommodated my schedule and opened up for me. She spent as long as necessary and I never felt rushed even considering the importance of the day. Veronica gave me ideas after listening to me and I was very pleased with my results. I felt very confident going to the wedding and overall, not even stressed after getting ready. I was amazed at people I knew, and even didn’t know, that gave me such positive comments on how I looked. The only negative is she lives so far away and when I need her again I may need to travel to her. Again, thank you Veronica for taking care of me on such an important day.

Veronica did my hair for my wedding and New Years. She is always on time, professional, and does a gorgeous job on whatever she does. I’ve seen her for everything from cut to color. She listens and really cares for your hair.

I just had my second Brazilian Blowout by Veronica and I LOVE IT! She is the BEST. My hair was transformed from coarse and frizzy to soft, straight and beautiful. I’ve had my hair straightened, relaxed, you name it — but this process — done by Veronica — is by far the best. She is truly an expert in this technique as well as cuts, color and styling. There’s no reason to go to anyone else. In her cozy studio all you have to do is sit back and relax and let her do her magic. She is the BEST!!! Did I already say that? :)

BEST haircuts and Brazilian Blowouts around! I came to Veronica first about a year ago, and my hair was in a horrendous state. She has since whipped my hair into shape and I get wonderful comments whenever I leave the house. Veronica is a star, not only is she very knowledgable, but she’s as friendly and genuine as they get!

Veronica did my hair and makeup, as well as my mom’s hair, for my wedding a couple months ago and I couldn’t have been happier!
After searching through dozens of Unilocal reviews and contacting several hair dressers in the Camarillo area I was beginning to lose faith. People were either not responding to my inquiry’s, or the quotes I was getting were astronomical. Finally, I came across Veronica. Her response time was great, her prices extremely reasonable for her expertise, and she was able to squeeze me in quickly for a hair trial.
I met Veronica at her studio for the trial and knew immediately she was my gal.
Day of the wedding she was on time and professional. As chaos swarmed the bridal suite Veronica kept calm and was a smooth voice and friendly presence; even through my inevitable bridal meltdown. (I do not suggest going 2 days without sleep before your wedding!)
Most importantly, my hair and makeup turned out beautifully, and my mom is seriously considering making the 3 hour drive to Thousand Oaks to see Veronica for all her styling needs.
I would recommend Veronica a million times over.

I love Veronica! She is the best!!! She’s really sweet and always listens to what I want. I told her I wanted to be a beautiful vibrant red and she did it! I was so happy and excited. I’ve been going to her for three years and I always leave looking and feeling beautiful! I love her personal suite it’s very cute. It’s nice being able to get my hair done and not have the craziness of a regular salon. Veronica and I have our own time together. Yay! I went from having hair a few inches past my shoulders to an A-​line bob and I love it! I was a little nervous when she cut 5 inches off my hair at once but I’m so glad I let her give me a new style. I love Veronica!

Veronica is an artist. I always walk out her salon so pleased. My wedding day was no exception. She pampered me in her super chic new salon while creating the hair and makeup of my dreams.

My experience with Veronica was great she is very professional and knows what she is doing. Her personality is great she makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed. I love my hair now. If I could give her 5 more stars, I would! I literally just got back from having her color my hair and I am absolutely in love with my new hair! The color was exactly was I was aiming for. And on top of everything, her customer service was amazing. She listened to your every word and we never had a dull moment. I’m so happy and relieved that I finally found my new stable hairstylist. This review has been way long over due. First off, I have been coming to Veronica for over 2 years now (I had been living in San Francisco before). I was recommended here by my three sisters and mother. Prior to seeing Veronica I would never let anyone touch my hair and I would dye it myself. Well you can only dye your hair yourself for so long until you need a professional to fix the damage you’ve done.
So I came to Veronica and explained to her how nervous I was about someone else touching my hair but that I needed to fix my hair color, my roots were darker than the bottom portion of hair, blotched hair job. Anyways, she took the time to explain the different types of hair dyes and how we could achieve the look I wanted. We agreed on some red lowlights. Let me just say that it only took one visit with Veronica and now I can’t imagine anyone else doing my hair. I have been converted.
Veronica knows hair. She keeps up with current hair trends and is constantly updating her hair products. She even has a profile of all her clients so she can keep track of what dyes and cuts she has done on your hair, she is very attentive to details. She is also incredibly friendly and funny which makes the process of getting your hair done enjoyable.
So basically Veronica is AMAZING, I trust her completely with my hair that I now just come in say «do whatever you want to my hair I trust you.»

Veronica and her assistant came to my hotel and did my hair and makeup for my wedding. I showed her three photos. Each with a piece of the hairstyle I wanted. It turned out exactly the way I had it pictured in my head and it stayed put ALL night! She is professional, courteous and was well polished (an important aspect for any bride who’s photographer is there during the process) I could not be happier. I live in Bakersfield but will be seeing Veronica again. If you choose her as your stylist for an important event, you will not be disappointed.

I recently hired Veronica to do my hair and makeup for my wedding on 7÷28÷13 in Westlake Village. I chose her because I had seen good reviews and really liked her from my interactions with her over the phone and in person at the salon.
She was extremely amenable to what I was looking for and what I wanted my hair and makeup to look like. At the same time, she was very helpful with her suggestions and I agreed with whatever she suggested because I trusted her professional advice. I brought her a few photos of updos that I liked and she helped me choose one that we agreed would fit with my type of hair, dress, and overall «look». Her rates are very competitive — I did a LOT of research because we were on a budget but I still wanted to hire someone who was experienced to make me look good on my wedding day! I ended up paying less than $ 170 for both makeup and hair (updo).
In addition, Veronica was very organized, she even arrived early on the day of the wedding so we could get a head start. She was very friendly, and a lovely person to have around on the day of the wedding!
I truly don’t think I could have gotten better for the price. I couldn’t have been happier with how it turned out, and the updo stayed in very well all night, despite some dance floor action! She definitely made my wedding day a wonderfully special one, because I love looking back at all the photos and admiring my hair and makeup!

Veronica is absolutely the best! She has done my daughter’s «up-​do» for prom the last two years and we could not have been more pleased with the work she has done. Veronica is so creative and pays wonderful attention to detail, the styles have lasted for hours and hours and the compliments that my daughter received were too many to count. I would highly recommend Veronica for any hair services, as she is so professional, well-​trained, and friendly… she is a gem and a great find in the Conejo Valley!

I found Veronica while attending my brother’s wedding in thousand oaks. I went to her for an updo and now there is absolutely no one else I will ever go to for any of my styling needs. I drive about an hour and a half to see her and she is well worth the drive. Not only is she experienced, knowledgeable, extremely well versed, professional and super likeable, but her prices are very reasonable as well. The first time she did a brazilian blowout to my hair the change was absolutely phenomenal. With the level of expertise and service she offers she could be charging a lot more. She is one of the stylists who truly knows hair and is passionate about what they do, which is not always easy to find, and I love how she is always accessible and accommodating to clients. The salon itself is also very clean and comfortable. I am so glad I found her!

Veronica is the best most talented stylist I have used

I’m a pretty selective person. For 7 years, I drove down to the O.C. from Ventura once a month to get my haircut with the same stylist. Then my stylist moved out of state. For a while, I continued my treks to the same salon, but I was never sold on the other stylists. It came to a point where the intervals between my haircuts became greater and greater since I did not look forward to dealing with a new stylist.
Upon a recommendation, I gave Veronica Nettleton @ Salon Rouge a try. I have to say that I am completely satisfied with her cutting and styling skills. She is very personable… great customer service and flexible appointments. She is the BEST!!! She has a customer for life!!!
