Specialties
World cuisine tapas by Executive Chef Richard Blanke.
Dining Room:
The main restaurant brings back a bar that was a popular watering hole in the ‘70s and ‘80s, but the main fixture of the restaurant is the woodburning oven and tapas bar in the dining room.
Library Lounge:
The Library adds an additional lounge for people to meet, sit by the pool, or grab a quick drink or lite meal.
Banquets:
Weddings, meetings, social events, and more are held daily in one of our many meeting spaces. Most importantly, we support and sponsor local community service, arts, and civic organizations. In keeping with this concept, these organizations are supported through the variety of facilities and services offered by the hotel, restaurant, banquets, and catering. Full-service off-site catering is available throughout Southern California.
History
Established in 2010.
TOI Tapas Bar & Lounge is located within the historical Thousand Oaks Inn. In 1969 Howard Johnsons Thousand Oaks Motor Lodge opened and became a popular location for family dining and nightlife in the Conejo Valley for several decades as the City has grown around it. Now, 40 years later, the goal for TOI Tapas Bar & Lounge is to create a community environment for group events, small gatherings, impromptu meetings, and an exciting dining experience all in one central location at the intersection of Hwy 23 and Hwy 101.
TOI primarily works with local vendors & suppliers in the Ventura County. Our produce is organic and sourced through local farms and ranches. As the seasons & crops change, as will the menu at TOI. Coffee is even produced locally by a local roaster in Thousand Oaks. In addition, TOI’s wine collection will showcase winemakers from local appellations, many with very small, limited runs. You can enjoy the unique terroir of the wineries in the local area.
