Lets face it… going to the dentist is not on anyone’s list of fun things to do, so it’s critical to find a place that makes you feel both comfortable and cared for. Thousand Oaks Dental Spa is that place.
A positive front office experience is key to any dental office’s success. Gaby (the office manager) is not only caring, but always responsive to any questions or requests I might have.
Dr. Nouri is a kind and gentle doctor who’s procedural skills are top notch. The previous dentist I saw gave me a filling, and clearly injected the wrong spot, because all that was numb was my tongue! The drilling was painful, and although he offered to numb me again, I said no, as I just wanted it over with. In contrast, with the filling that Dr. Nouri put in, not only did I feel no pain from the needle, I had zero discomfort as he drilled away!
I must also give a shout-​out to my dental hygienist who’s the best one I’ve ever had. I won’t give out her name as she’ll end up too busy to see me ;) The office knows I’ll only see her, no matter how long it is until her next appointment.
I have full confidence in recommending this office. Many thanks to Dr. Nouri and his staff for the years of compassionate and high quality dental care that they’ve provided me.

Dr Nouri walked with me through a very painful dental issue that of course escalated over a week-​end. He was available to me almost immediately via cell phone & responded even quicker to my text mgs… calling in a much needed prescription to ease my pain. He then fit me into his schedule first thing Monday morning & when it was evident I needed dental surgery he referred me to an oral surgeon & I had an appointment within 1 hour.
I just had my follow up appointment with Dr Noui today for a crown & again he was gentle, considerate & made sure I felt no pain. Of course, having the warm neck pillow & movie of my choice wasn’t so bad either.
I highly recommend Dr. Nouri… I didn’t think I liked dentists… but Dr Nouri is the definite exception! Great guy, great staff!

This is the best dental office I have ever been to!
The entire staff, and the dentist Dr. Nouri, are all so kind and professional. The office is clean, and wonderfully decorated. They have so many extras to make you feel comfortable, too. I watched a movie while getting a crown! Just a great, calm experience. I highly recommend Dr Nouri and his wonderful staff.

I used to HATE the dentist let alone I would be told I had 13 cavities to be done and spend tons of money every time! Dr. Nouri is awesome and so is his staff! from hating the dentist for so many years, I love going now. he doesn’t make up things to make money, hes fast, VERY efficient, and his work is excellent. the office itself is relaxing where I almost fall asleep watching a movie while getting a cavities filled! the front desk lady is the sweetest. I don’t like to be surprised with the amount my teeth are going to cost when I get there, she is ALWAYS the first to remember to email me the cost of my apt BEFORE my date to go in to make sure its in my budget. overall im so happy I have FINALLY found myself a dentist I can trust and rely on. don’t second guess yourself you’ll be impressed!

Love this place. Finally someone who won’t make up dental problems just to make money off of you. So what dr Nouri doesn’t talk much. Thank god. I just want to watch my movie and be done. He will answer your questions if you have any. I brought my 2 kids there too and they were treated very well, much better than pediatric dentists. I swear this guy is an angel and so is his staff.

My first communication was through a phone conversation with the front desk. It was a nice greeting, she was warm and friendly. I was impressed by their use of technology for appointment reminders. We live in such a high-​tech world; their ways of communicating with their patients fit my needs.
* The atmosphere was amazing. Their logo and marketing definitely fits their office. Everyone in the office is friendly, Dr. Nouri is wonderful, he is very helpful and answered all my questions.
* I’m eager to go back to my dentist! Mind you, I use to say «I’m a grown — woman and I still hate going to the dentist!» NOT ANYMORE!!!

The front desk staff is wonderful and attentive, and I really appreciate how they remind you multiple times about your upcoming appointment. The hygienists are professional and skilled and Dr. Nouri is the best!

I tried the Dental Spa for about a year. I was impressed with Nouri’s skill and advanced equipment. However (to me) he was very aloof and impersonal. During a 45 minute bridge procedure he didn’t say more that 3 sentences. Perhaps many of his patients are plugged in to an Ipod, but I need to understand what he’s doing along the way. I’m not asking for the Gettysburg Address but a little encouragement now and then. Anyway the work was more than satisfactory. Another time in the waiting room an older gentleman was asking him about follow up care. Dr Nouri was answering his questions but it was easy to tell he was annoyed by the follow-​up. Finally there was a dental evaluation billed on my invoice yet not performed. It was paid by the insurance company but the office staff was cavalier about it. I decided it was time to exit the practice and go down the hall to another dentist.

So let me start out by saying I called this potiential dentist office on Monday. Asking if they accepted new patients. She quickly said yes and asked me who my insurance was though. I gave her all my insurance info and member ID number. She put me on hold and came back and said that she does accept my insurance. So I made an appointment for a few days later.
I have a very impotant job which I had to leave during a meeting to come to an appointment which was supposedly verified.
When I arrived this morning. The young lady at the desk immedatly upon hearing my name told me that they do not accept my insurance !! And quickly through out a blatant lie telling me that they sent an email yesterday telling me that my insurance was not accepted.
WHY LIE TO A POTIENTIAL CLIENT? If you are embarressed about the lack of communication with a potiential, just be upfront about your office’s mistake.
I would have paid the $ 170 fee. but You lied to me and that insulted my intelligence.
Wow this was an opportunity for a business to shine and show integrity. EPIC FAIL!
Not only did I have to rearrange my work schedule and drive back through the canyon 40 minutes. But I was lied to bold face, which is what really upsets me.
I have 2 cell phones and the nature of my business is to be precise with emails, and our’s clients needs. But when your the best that’s how you handle clients, leads, etc.
WHY WOULDN’T YOU HAVE JUST CALLED ME THIS MORNING TO TELL ME THAT MY INSURANCE DIDN’T COVER? WHY NOT CALL YESTERDAY WHEN YOU SUPPOSEDLY SENT OUT THAT ‘EMAIL”??When I walked in you were just sitting there?
A simple call is all it takes. Incompetence, lack of proper training.
IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY WHEN I FILLED OUT THE FORMS MONDAY AS REQUESTED I HAD INITIALED A SECTION WHICH STATES IF THE CLIENTS DOESN’T NOT CALL OR CANCEL THEIR APPOINTMENT THERE WILL BE CHARGED $ 100 DOLLAR FEE.
WELL I SHOULD CHARGE YOU $ 200 FEE FOR WASTING MY TIME AND TAKING AWAY FROM MY BUSINESS! I“ll invoice you
This is Marketing 101 Dr., train your staff. Albeit great customer care goes a long way regardless of the situation. You can have a fountain in the middle of your office and fresh squeezed orange juice, but it can never make up for bad client service. Those whom are satisfied advocate and give good word of mouth… those who are not…
Please train your front end staff not to lie bold face especiallly to a potieintial client.

I would highly recommend this office. The staff is fun, the little services they provide during your appointment are great and the hygienist and dentist are awesome. couldn’t ask for a better dentist office.

I came to find Thousand Oaks Dental Spa through my family. I was hanging out with my Aunt and Uncle when my cousin walked in from her visit with Doc Nouri and company over at TODS. Aside from the fact that she was smiling after a visit to the dentist, I couldn’t help but overhear about how much FUN she had.
Wait … what? FUN at the DENTIST? Yeah … tough to believe, I know.
Anyway, it had been something like 10 years since my last visit to a dentist — I don’t think I had quite recovered from the retirement of my first dentist whom I had been seeing since my first tooth — and I was starting to feel like brushing twice a day wasn’t going to cut it forever. So, I called TODS and I made an appointment.
That was 3 years ago last week.
From the moment I stepped foot into TODS I was hooked — the smiles behind the counter from the courteous and helpful staff, the comfortable waiting room, the professional and pleasant hygenist and, of course, Dr. Nouri.
For me, the «Spa» part of the equation doesn’t matter too much; I find myself returning because of the people. But, being able to watch Goodfellas during a drill and fill or a cleaning isn’t such a bad thing, I suppose.
I can’t say enough positive stuff about Dr. Nouri and the TODS staff. They are cool, professional, polite, efficient and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I like them so much that I will continue to use TODS even though I live in Sherman Oaks and have to drive 30 miles to get my teeth cleaned … it’s TOTALLY WORTH IT.

I’m 43 and this is by far the best dental office I’ve ever experienced! The staff is absolutely fantastic and Dr. Nouri is very professional and fast. I can’t see myself ever going anywhere else.

Dr Nouri is flat out the best dentist I have ever been to in my 53 years and dozen or so dentists. He is the Michelangelo of teeth! The way he sculpts in ridges and matches colors on simple fillings is amazing, and don’t even get me started on how well he sculpts the Cerec crowns. If Michelangelo’s «David» needed teeth restoration, Dr Nouri would be who they called. Plus the office and staff are amazing and you get pampered with spa treatments like paraffin hand waxes and heated massage pads. Courteous, professional, high tech, gentle– they are the best– you’d be crazy to go anywhere else!

I’ve been with many dentists and let me tell you…
Dr Nouri is the most talented, «Picasso», ethical, quality, proffesional and one of the FEW HONEST «looking-for-the-patient’s-best-interest-and-not-mine» dentist that are still out there! The patient’s comfort is the NUMBER ONE priority and he NEVER pushes or sells anything. The spa amenities are COMPLIMENTARY meaning NO CHARGE to you NOR your insurance! It just comes out of his caringness for his patients (not to mention his out of pocket… lol). The quality (materials and treatment rendered) is the best and always up on the latest technology. The sterilization is always an important aspect in this office not to mention the customer service.
Give TODS a try — you WILL NOT REGRET IT! ;)

Dr. Nouri and his staff are great. I’ve had plenty of experience with dental offices over the years, and this office is definitely the best. They are friendly and professional. I’ve been going there for about six years. I’ve had some major dental work done by Dr. Nouri and have been very satisfied with his work.

I have been going to TODS for 6 years, and it has been a wonderful experience each time I visit. I used to work in the area, and even though I work in Burbank now, I would never even consider going anywhere else.
The staff is so friendly and Dr. Nouri is great! You feel very safe at this office. The hygenists and assistants also all do great jobs.
The amenities at this office are incredible. You almost feel like you truly are at a spa! I also love the movie selection, which helped me to take my mind off my initial fears of going to the dentist. Needless to say, I have never feared since coming to TODS.

I’m 5 ½ months pregnant and a new patient and was treated by the staff and Dr. Nouri with respect and kindness (could not go through the regular new patient x-​rays, etc). the spa perks are a plus, but ultimately it’s how you and your teeth are treated. I’ve had manual cleanings before that scared the bejeezus out of me, but Dr. Nouri was very gentle and made me feel at ease. Thank you!

Dentist. What dentist? Incredibly fabulous office… in every way! You would never even imagine a dentist’s office being so gorgeous! It’s as if you walked into a boutique spa & were treated by the best staff possible. The office is high-​tech & high-​end. If you’re not one of Dr. Nouri’s patient’s you are missing out on an exceptional experience.
