This review is for my wedding ceremony at St Paschal.
THE GOOD — Fr. Dave Heney is the BEST! He is so genuine and easy to talk to. He made our entire engagement/​wedding experience enjoyable. The pianist, Kevin Stoller, was also very good. He was helpful and easy to work with. Our wedding music came out great!
THE BAD — The wedding coordinators, Verna Dorner & her assistant. Verna continuously forgot important details of our wedding such as the time of the ceremony, the priest officiating our ceremony, and details listed on our program.
At our rehearsal (the evening before the wedding) she was so frazzled — she still had the time of our ceremony wrong, even the day before! She acted like our wedding was in the way of her personal schedule. They had a funeral prior to our wedding and she didn’t want to take those flowers down for our wedding (why would we want funeral flowers at our wedding? Plus we had ordered our own flowers for the ceremony).
On our wedding day, they tried to hide my flower girl’s petals purely because they didn’t feel like picking them up afterwards. After the ceremony our guests were promptly told to leave (a lot of them weren’t able to be in our photos) and they shut off the lights in the middle of our photographer taking our photo at the alter. They were so rude and obviously didn’t treat our ceremony with the respect it deserved.

AWESOME COMMUNITY! very involved parish and lots and lots of great people. the priests at this parish are so kind, intelligent and welcoming that you cant help but love it here!
