Dr. Mahdavi and his staff are Amazing!!! My family and I have been patients for the last 8 years. I highly recommend this dental office not only for pretty and clean teeth, but for staff who are knowledgeable, patient and friendly.

Dr. Mahdavi and the entire staff are great! I’m totally scared of dental offices but this one is an exception. For the past 2 months, I had deep cleaning, wisdom tooth extraction, fillings done on my mouth here and I never had any complain. The dentist explained well what he’s doing. He has light hands as my husband called them. I hardly felt any pain during any of the procedures. He’s very friendly and easy to talk to. The staff are very accommodating and friendly, too. I love this place!

My 5 year old son actually said he loves going to this dentist! He loves the staff!
I appreciate how good they are with him; they make going to the dentist fun!

Around mid-​January, I decided to call a few dental offices around my area to see if any dentists would be interested in having a pre-​dental school student shadow for them. Michelle answered the phone and she was very kind, sweet and helpful, she told me she would ask the doctor and call me back. By the end of the week Michelle called back saying the doctor would be interested in having someone shadow for him for the week. I was so excited! It’s hard finding a dentist to shadow for without really knowing them previously as a patient or referral so this was a very big opportunity for me. When I met Dr. Mahdavi he introduced me to the team and told everyone I will be shadowing for the week, observing how the office functions and how he works with patients. Dr. Mahdavi told me he had never had anyone shadow for him before and honestly I haven’t shadowed for a dentist either in a very long time, but we all figured it out together! I would like to thank the front desk ladies Kim, Michelle, Nicole for their helpfulness. The dental assistants Laura and Nancy, you ladies taught me so much about set ups and preparations thank you for having patience with me, Robin the dental Hygenist, you taught me how to floss and brush my teeth better lol and Dr. Mahdavi for the opportunity of shadowing him. You are all a great team.
I would like to add, Dr. Mahdavi is not like most dentists, he GENUINELY cares about his patients because he’s passionate about his job and making the patients happy! After watching him for a week I was confident enough that I needed a new dentist lol. THANK YOU Dr. Mahdavi and the Skyline Dental team!

I’ve been going to Skyline for several years now and I always recommend them to friends. The staff is friendly. Dr. Mahdavi is very personable and always remembers me as a person, and not just a mouth. The office is clean and I have NEVER had to wait. An added bonus is that I get to kick back and take a break while I’m there and get my fix of some HGTV.

Dr Mahdavi and his staff are amazing. After our family dentist, who was also a personal friend passed away, we drifted to a few different offices. We are so happy to be patients of Dr Mahdavi, and his staff is great. We also appreciate the varying office hours since it helps with our crazy busy schedule. Skyline Dental is highly recommended!

This is by far the best dentist office for kids!!! They email your appointment info with the option to immediately make an iCal event for your iPhone! The people are great and the office is beautiful! Thanks guys!

The office is clean, quiet, and efficient. I had almost no wait both times I have gone there. Their equipment is new and adds to the efficiency… digital xrays are done in the same chair where you get your cleaning, and your own personal flat screen TV is also used to show you the xray images as well as any pictures they take of your teeth. Most importantly, Dr. Mahdavi is a pro. It’s always satisfying to see someone in action who is good at their job. After having two cavities drilled out and filled in the morning, by the time the numbness wore off in the afternoon I would never have known I’d been to the dentist that morning.

I had a great first experience today at Skyline Dental. The whole staff was so warm and welcoming and Robin who cleaned my teeth is my favorite hygienist ever. I could have talked to her all day. I seriously almost asked her out for coffee, I enjoyed her company so much LOL. The little TV’s they have above the dental chairs is a great way to pass the time at the dentist!

Clean office, comfortable chairs, non pushy/​selling environment. The dentist is great and the hygenists are friendly and do a great job with my teeth.

I can’t say enough nice things about Dr. Mahdavi and his amazing staff!
Of course they’ve got the basics covered:
— Extremely clean and inviting office… so clean I’m sure when they drop food they could use the 30-​minute rule!
— Exceptionally warm and friendly staff; Guaranteed laughter and smiles with every visit… and that’s even when I WASN’T wearing my clown costume!
— Comfortable waiting room/​exam rooms; no joke, I think I fell asleep a little when I was getting my teeth cleaned, which leads to me to…
— Fantastic chair-​side manner: Dr. Mahdavi and his staff expertly navigates their way around your oral facilities with a level of care and compassion that makes Mother Teresa look like a mobster!
— Fair, competitive pricing. No jokes here… a happy wallet is to be taken very seriously.
But then they go above and beyond:
— Televisions in every exam room. Allow The Fresh Prince to serenade you with his tales of an inner city youth hilariously struggling to adjust to life in an upper class neighborhood while your teeth undergo their own rags to riches story!
— Protective shades much cooler than my own… If I were a lesser person, I’d have 5 pairs of these at home!
— No weird looks when you ask them if they believe in aliens… when it’s relevant, of course.
— Dr. Mahdavi is not afraid of a hug! I hug everyone who makes me look and feel as good as he has! And when the time came, Dr. Mahdavi proved his expertise does not end with dentistry!
All in all, and all jokes aside, you’d be hard pressed to find a better dentist in the Conejo Valley area… or in the US for that matter! He’s an honest, hard-​working, straight-​shooter who worked his dental ninja precision to help me offend fewer and fewer people with my ever-​improving smile! Now, eating is less about what side to chew on and is back to «How fast can I shove this in my face»!

I was in need of going to a dentist and was looking for a place around Thousand Oaks. I found Skyline Dental because it was very close to my house and Unilocal reviews were all positive. So I went in to give it a try. When I went in the first time I was nervous at first but they changed all that. I walked in and they showed me around. Made me feel comfortable. Everyone there is very nice as well. Having a sliding tv that adjust to when you lay down or sit up is also a plus. I would recommend Skyline Dental to anyone who is in need of a dentist.

I was new to the area a few years ago and at the time, I happened to live a few blocks away from their office and I was very pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and friendliness of the entire staff and Dr Mahdavi as well.
Now, even though I live farther away, it is well worth the effort to drive myself and my 3 kids to Thousand Oaks to get quality dental care from someone that we can trust and enjoy visiting.

I recently moved to Westlake and needed a new dentist even though my previous dentist is only like 7 miles away.
Anyway, my husband found this place (thanks to Unilocal) and he came home happy as a pig in poop. So since he was raving about it, I decided to follow suit.
Super duper pleasant experience. Everyone was really nice, they explain EVERYTHING so you aren’t surprised, and best of all you get a TV to keep you distracted.
I had a great experience. Its weird that I had such a good time at the dentist, but I did. Looking forward to my visit in 6 months. :)

I had several bad dental experiences growing up. I hadn’t been to a dentist in 8 – 9 years, but knew I needed to go back. I decided to go to Skyline Dental for my first trip back, and I’ve been more than happy with each visit every since!
I was terrified to go back after so many years as I knew I had more dental work that needed to be done, but the entire staff makes me feel very comfortable and are so friendly! Everybody from the front office when I check in to the hygienist, to the dentist and his assistants — all are friendly and always make me feel like they truly care about how I’m doing. Nobody ever gave me grief for staying away from a dentist for so long and always talk me through everything they are doing so I know what to expect. My first few visits I used laughing gas in addition to Novocain to ease my nerves, but now I don’t need any extra help because I feel so comfortable with everybody at Skyline. They even call me the next day to check in and see how I’m feeling after a procedure the day prior.
I 100% recommend Skyline Dental to any and everybody :)

Excellent !!! I never had a better experience at a Dentist office. the interior is bright and colorful. I the front desk staff is friendly. Robin did my cleaning and it tool almost 90 mins for the entire process. She was very friendly and was constantly explaining the state of my teeth and providing suggestions on how I should be maintaining my teeth. Later Doctor Mahdavi came for the final checkup and showed me what’s wrong with my teeth. Flashed the X-ray’s on the television and clearly spotted the troublesome areas.
Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend Skyline Dental for every one. A true 5 star experience.
