As street fairs go, this one has to be one of the best! There were over 350 booth’s today. Everything and anything was represented. Choices to eat included shaved ice, hot dogs, the kettle corn, bratwurst, pizza, soda, chips, imagine it and it was there. Chiropractors offered spine analysis and massages, the water company provided water saving tips, the gas company had energy efficient home appts that could be scheduled. And the merchants, where to begin… jewerly, arts and crafts, purses, wind ornaments, petrifiedgs, ah yes, you read that correctly, bugs, and of course clothing. Animal rescues were there with the cutest, friendliest dogs of all sizes just hoping for their forever person to come bring them home. VCFD had their trucks there for the kids and the firemen were wearing pink shirts with their uniforms for breast cancer awareness. Thank you, VCFD! Lots of spin the wheel games were played for kids and grown up alike. Everyone took home something! Great day was had, I highly recommend. Thank you Thousand Oaks Rotary for a job well done!
