Fixed my boyfriend’s iPhone 6 plus in a flash and charged less than the price I was quoted here on Unilocal!Best in the 805 by farrr.

Went in for a screen cover to protect my new iPhone 6s, was told there was a great deal for a gorilla glass tempered screen! 20 $! I was so excited! So why the one star review?
It’s been two days since I got the screen, and my phone dropped maybe half a foot and the screen cracked. Keep in mind the tech put on this whole show where he brought out a phone and smashed it with a hammer, and that didn’t crack.
The screen he gave me wasn’t gorilla glass. There is no way. Also when I called to say really guys? Two days & a half foot drop? The tech on the phone said we will replace for 15 $. Absolutely terrible business. I wouldn’t usually be so upset because it’s my fault, but there is no warranty on anything they sell, they also didn’t give me a receipt. Just, don’t go here.

Super convenient and knew exactly how to fix the broken camera on my iPhone 6. Ordered the part for me and the price was way cheaper than other places had quoted me. I highly recommend refresh screens. Only negative of the whole experience was that refresh screens is conveniently located next to some of my favorite stores and I spent the money I saved on fixing my phone immediately at Zara and Anthropologie!!;-)

Unfortunately the previous person I used to repair a phone and iPad has moved to Portland. Too far to ship so I thought I would try out Refresh screens in the Oaks Mall.
I took my iPhone 6 in for a broken outer screen and was told the phone would be done in 30 minutes. One hour later they were still working on it. Two hours later they gave it back to me. As I had backed up and wiped my phone I needed to do a restore at home. When I did the phone froze and said «ERROR 53,»
I went back the next day to the place and they said it had nothing to do with them, that when I did a restore it updated the phone and something was wrong with the software. They refused to repair the phone.
I then went to the Apple Store upstairs and after waiting for over an hour was seen at the genius bar.
They told me since I had had the screen repaired elsewhere (they said it was a high quality ?? but not the best) and that my fingerprint sensor had been replaced and that is why my phone will not work. I had to pay over $ 400– to replace because this cheap place downstairs damaged my home button, replaced it with one of theirs. Apple says the replacement ones will cause your phone to fail forever when you update it.
I have spent allot of time on Apple forums reading about this error and see it only happens when the home button/​fingerprint reader is replaced by someone other than Apple.
If anybody has a favorite honest repair place, I am looking for a new one in the Agoura-​Thousand Oaks-​Simi area.

I took in my 11 year old’s iPhone for a bad screen. They repaired it in an hour BUT the screen didn’t fit snuggly into the housing. My son kept pushing it down over several weeks and then the screen went black. I took it back and they opened it up and said a little ribbon had broken (due to their bad install) and that it would need a new screen again (another $ 90). I argued that it was their fault, the phone had not been dropped, the screen was not broken, it showed no signs of abuse but they insisted that I would have to pay to put a new screen on if they were to fix it.
If it was my phone I would have returned the next day and had the bad install corrected. Unfortunately, it is used by an 11 year old and he is not savvy about these kinds of things.
They also said that I would need to speak with the guy who made the repair (Jose) if there was going to be any possibility of a discount or price break. I came in several more times (3 – 4) and each time Jose was not there. I finally called a phone number I got from the Oaks Mall concierge and I asked when Jose would be in so I could discuss the matter. I was told that he no longer works there and that they could not fix the phone under warrantee.
No warrantee, no offer to split the difference or discount the repair, lies, lousy customer service, shoty repair work. These guys have got me by the calls

my iphone 6 had water damage and a cracked screen but the phone still turned on. they quoted me $ 130 to repair which is an amazing price. my sister had her cracked screen replaced on her iphone 6 for $ 149 at iphone fix. he even went out of his way to make sure everything else was working on my phone and fixed the speaker after having it stuck on headphone mode. good customer service, excellent prices, and fast repair!

Quick, talented, friendly and informed. They fixed my samsung s6 edge camera lens beautifully and had a great attitude doing it. I would reccomend them without question! Thanks guys. Hope not to have to see you again, but if I do, I know it will be pleasant!

Really a horrible experience. Came for a cracked screen. We agreed with the tech that there had been exposure to water but everything on the phone worked when we left it with the tech.
Fixed screen in 30 minutes but then the LCD wasn’t quite right. Had been fine when we came in. Another 20 minutes.
Now home button not working except for Touch ID. Tech apologizes and says come back tomorrow and they will replace as no parts in stock today and he couldn’t explain why lock screen worked but not other. He indicated the new part would be free.
Came back next day — different tech, unprofessional and unpleasant — told us guy from prior day didn’t know what he was talking about and no parts for our phone. Lots of phone calls. Finally agreed to replace the part but «no guarantee this will fix the issue» plus resoundingly told us that the tech from previous day would have his salary docked for our repair.
Long wait — clear today’s guy does not know how to install the part. Phone calls, wandering off to «get parts» — not for our phone. Told 15 — 30 minutes. Over an hour and no where near done. Then he ripped out the battery — what? They had opened and closed the phone repeatedly in the 2 days this has been going on but now it won’t fit. As he pulls it out, a pufff of smoke. Of course, no batteries for a 5-​S.
Another call out and I asked to speak with what I assumed was a manager. Apparently another tech — I vented about the situation and was told I was dealing with «trained technicians» and that I had «assumed the risk when I signed the waiver leaving my phone. «This is the response to my phone sitting destroyed with a tech who didn’t know how to fix it in the first place. I was never, however, asked to sign a waiver in the whole process — until the end when I ask for a recept to leave my phone overnight as I’m told to come back the next day and my phone will be back together and working.
I asked for contact information and was given the number for the manager Jose only to find that the manager hasn’t set up his vm box. This has been a real nightmare.
Postscript — went back today on day 3. Richard was there (mentioned in other reviews) and he had fixed the phone. Only choice was a black home button and now the print ID no longer works but otherwise the phone is working. He didn’t charge me and refunded what I paid originally for the screen.

My brothers and I have taken our phones and iPads to this place a couple times now and they’re never short of our expectations. Speedy service!

I cracked the screen and the lcd on my samsung galaxy s5 and i took it there to get a quote. The fixed it and my phone looks brand new again! Great price and excellent service.

If you have a broken smart phone — or tablet — you got to stop by refresh screens! They’re in the mall, so you can get some extra shopping done while you wait…

Pricing is at or below what you would pay anywhere else — pretty amazing considering they are in the mall.

I was in TO visiting a friend, and on my first day i left my iphone on top of the car and backed over it. Yay :/​What a great way to start a trip. BUT thankfully I was able to bring my phone to refresh and they were able to fix it in a flash! It was great to be able to go shopping while it was getting fixed.

I took my samsung phone for a repair to this location. They were courteous and quick to fix my cracked screen. I definitley recommend this location for any repair of your phones

Amazing service, very professional! I went into have my LCD screen changed on my iPhone 4s! I was provided with great customer services and the tech took good care of my phone, he made sure all my questions and concerns were answered. I also purchased a screen protector Nuglas and I just love it! Reasonable pricing and very professional. I recommend this place to anyone.

I typically walk past mall kiosks, but I’m glad I didn’t for this one! Refresh Screens did an amazing job on my iPhone and saved me from having to buy another one. Quality work, great service and a savings from what I was quoted by the other local vendors. Oh, and the owners are super nice too! :)

My wife keeps trying to kill her iPhone 5s and refresh screens keeps bringing it back to life. The first time, they fixed her cracked screen and did an incredible job! The second time, she submerged it in water and they brought it back to life. Refresh screens is the BEST!!!
