I had an issue with my garage door not rising properly. I called Paradise and had a visit with an hour. He made a small adjustment for NO CHARGE. Yes, when I need more work done they are the first I call. Excellent.

We are new to the area and I saw a flier about Paradise Garage Door in a mailer so I called.
I am so happy I tried them out! Linn is awesome! He is honest, reliable, on-​time, quick to reply to phone calls, and trustworthy. He also won’t nickel and dime you. He explained what the problem was what he recommended and fixed the issue in no time at all. Best experience with new company in awhile.

I called Paradise Garage door because my previous installer stood me up for the second time and I took the hint. Paradise (Dustin and Linn) came to the house, installed the new opener and left. No muss no fuss. They cleaned up the area, and left without a trace, except for a new opener that works perfectly. It’s still working nicely. I think I made a good choice. I’ll definitely use them again if the door or opener ever needs repair or replacement.

Linn and his son Dustin just left my house (I think it was his son I’m terrible with names – sorry!). I never come on Unilocal to review but I felt compelled to write a review because I was so happy with the service I just received. This morning our garage door on our older home went haywire while we were on our way out the door to work – got that sinking feeling of having to deal with an annoying house repair! Came on Unilocal and after reading the positive reviews I called Linn, he answered my call immediately, was at my house in literally 10 minutes to assess the situation. I liked that he gave me both options (fix a 15 year old motor or replace with a new one). I opted to replace with a new one. They had another job to go to and promised to be back in a few hours and a few hours later they were not only back but the entire job was completed (new motor, sensors, door button and 2 new remotes). All for a fair price of $ 375. Before they left they made sure I understood all the new buttons, controls and made sure I could manually release the door myself in the event of a power outage. All this with an extremely warm, professional and positive attitude. I would 100% recommend them!!! Getting this repair done could not have been easier. Thank you!

I called Linn a couple of weeks ago since we wanted an access keypad installed on our garage. We also needed the garage door and mechanism checked due to a lot of creaking noises. Linn called me right back and was really nice & professional.
Linn had to order a part and advised me as soon as it arrived a few days later. His son Dustin came over at the time Linn promised and did an amazing job. Dustin is a great guy; super friendly and speedy, quality work. He and Linn obviously know their business and take pride in taking care of their clients.

lynn just left my house. I called him an hour ago and he came and fixed my broken spring. He replaced two parts for no extra charge. The best thing he said about a new motor is if it works don’t replace it. I highly recommend him Rick B.

I had the most minor of issues– the wall activator for opening my garage door went haywire. After trips to two hardware stores and to HD online I finally found my way to Paradise. After a short conversation to confirm which wall switch I have and to confirm my diagnosis he told me if I wanted to install myself he would leave a switch up front and I could pick it up any time after 7am the next morning. No charge!!!

The best ! Paradise put in a new garage door for us last year. They did a professional job in a timely manner at a fair price. Their service is the greatest. On new years day, I parked my new 57 Ford classic wagon in the garage — then the garage door cable snapped. In less that 2 hours after I called, Lynn the owner showed up. He left his family campsight at the beach to take care of business. He fixed the door before it did any damage — no charge! Happy to refer them to all interested. Jerry Cook

Linn was great. Highly Recommend. Knows his stuff, takes the time to do it right, and seemed to really care about what his company does. Thanks for coming out on short notice on a saturday and get everything working perfectly again.

I called and spoke with Linn, he seemed knowledgeable and eager. I expressed that I needed a single-​car one piece garage door and planned to attach wood siding to the front to simulate a classic wooden door. I asked what size to make the rough opening and he clearly told me 9′ 1″ wide
In a follow-​up email he then told me to make the opening 8′ 10″ I emailed him back and he evidently forgot it was a one-​piece door and not a roll-​up door, he then said to make it 9′ 0″ thus making it 3 inconsistent numbers. I expressed my concern for accuracy and being less then inspired by his lack of detail, he then told me to call another company, likely figuring I was a small job. I’m a contractor myself and big or small, attention needs to be given to each job. I’m not overly demanding or difficult, Linn just wasn’t on his game and was quick to blow me off.
It’s a good thing I called another company, I remembered another company I used years before and when I explained what I planned to do they explained that adding more then 50 pounds of weight (by means of attaching wood to a door) would cause problems. Linn had planned to use extra springs and told me it should be fine.
I’m sorry Linn, but when you’re 3 times inconsistent with your information, take no responsibility for it and then tell someone to go elsewhere because their job is small… this is the review you get.

What great service Linn and his team provided. I called them on Monday morning ¹²⁄₀₉ when my garage door would not open or close completely. Linn answered and said he could come out that afternoon. He arrived on time and within 20 minutes diagnosed a problem with my 14 year old Craftsman opener, a broken gear. He had to order the part so we rescheduled for Wednesday. His team arrived also on time and repaired the broken part withing 30 minutes. Neither Linn nor his team tried to up sell me to a new opener, even though mine is from 1999. They did a great job and were very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend Linn and his team for any repairs or maintenance your may need in the Conejo Valley. They were punctual, polite, professional, quick and clean. Kudos and thanks for a job well done.

Linn and his team of workers (Dustun) are fantastic! They are honest and know how to get the job done right. Been using them for 5+ years and never have been disappointed.
We’ve had them put in a new garage door opener, and replace springs. Recently my door got mis-​aligned due to an obstruction and they came out quickly to tended to my problem. Hard-​working folks that you can trust!

Linn was great. If you are looking for a garage door person who is reliable, honest, and good businessman, look no further.
Linn’s my garage door guy. When my springs go or I need a new motor or whatever, I’m calling him.
I moved here recently, and it is tough to find, honest and fair service people. .. guys who will tell you straight up what wrong and not try to sell you something you don’t need.
I won’t bore you with all the details, but he’s responsible, and follows up by phone, is easy to get a hold of, and won’t charge you unless he’s able to fix it.
Unrelated to my service call, he tightened up the bolts on my wooden garage door, which probably hadn’t been done since the door was installed. Some of them were quite loose. And he did this for free, even though I offered to pay him. Not only that, he told me what to for general maintenance for my setup. .. things I should do on my own between major service calls, like a broken spring.
By good businessman, I mean he isn’t in this for the short term, small gain. As an entrepreneur myself, this is what I look for in service people.
