Lexus of Thousand Oaks

Our close friend has worked in the auto business for many years and referred us to Hovig Osmanian at Lexus of Thousand Oaks. We had a wonderful experience. We set out to look at both new and certified pre-​owned vehicles. Hovig introduced us to Philana Tidwell. She shared her insights and opinions and helped us to find the right car. We decided on a 2015 certified pre-​owned RX350. The finance manager, Sara Khanlar, walked us through the costs and also gave us great insight into our options.
So, why am I so happy?
1. I got a great car at a great price. It’s just what I wanted.
2. This dealership has a «one price policy» on certified pre-​owned cars, so no negotiation on price. The car I got had recently been discounted.
3. Certified pre-​owned cars have a warranty with 6-​year from first use or unlimited miles.
4. I purchased a low-​cost, 5-​year extended warranty. Now my car has a warranty for the next 10 years with unlimited miles.
5. I believe the extended warranty is transferable one time.

LEXUS OF THOUSAND OAKS WILL ROCK YOUR WORLD… AND GIVE YOU GREAT SERVICE… This is my first Lexus (a very good car) but not my first lease. I have never been taken care of with such kind people who cater to the clients and do great work on your car. No one referred me to this dealership i found it on my own. I am one year doing business with them and the service never changed. do yourself a favor support this dealership with sales and service.

One of the worst experiences! I leased a Lexus from this place back in 2014. The lease is up this year (2016) and I kept getting all these letters and emails telling me that if I lease or finance a new Lexus, that Lexus financial will make my last 3 payments and get me into a new car. I dealt with a salesman named Sahid and he was just throwing out all kinds of crazy numbers. He didn’t do anything to help me he was useless. I would have gladly tried to lease another Lexus if they had tried to work with me a little bit.
The only reason I gave this dealership 2 stars is because the service department was always great when I took my car in for service. If I were you, I would stay away from this dealership and take a drive to Woodland Hills or Longo Lexus, they always give good deals.

Lexus of Thousand Oaks is a very nice dealership. Everyone there is welcoming & I never feel uncomfortable or out of place when I go there. In the year & a half I’ve had my IS 250 I’ve taken it in a couple of times for service & just today to have the little «glitch» with the Enform navi/​radio/​Bluetooth taken care of & it was a breeze. I arrived at 7:30 am & was told they weren’t starting with the rebooting til 8am,
well I was out & on my way home by 7:55. How cool is that! And most importantly my Enform is working perfectly again. So thankful! Thanks Lexus (especially Paul V & Grettel P) for being a 5 Star ***** dealership in my eyes.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Service was done in a quick and timely matter. People very nice and friendly.

This car purchase came as a bit of a surprise. Instead of replacing our older SUV, we found ourselves needing to replace our newer sedan after our home was robbed (car stolen and totaled). We decided life is too short so we would upgrade to our «big kid car». After testing out Mercedes, BMW and Lexus, we knew the Lexus ES Hybrid was a perfect match for our family.
We have a family of five (three growing sons), so it was imperative that there was enough cabin space to accommodate long legs, a car seat and a very tall husband, while also being easy on the gas tank.
Dakota was a fantastic salesman! He helped us every step of the way! He was patient, offered tips and got us our dream car. Thank you Dakota and everyone at Lexus for your wonderful customer service.

We recently leased our first Lexus from Lexus of Thousand Oaks. I can very safely say that the dealership went leaps and bounds out of their way to accommodate us. Our salesperson, Philana Tidwell, was absolutely amazing! Not only was she in very regular communication with us to make sure we were able to obtain the make and model we were after; Philana even watched my 2 young kids in their lounge as my wife and I signed the finance documents.
Having experienced this level of service with Lexus of Thousand Oaks, and particularly our salesperson, Philana, I can safely say we will be back for our next vehicle!

I took my 2012 Lexus in to have it serviced and drove out with a brand new 2016 Lexus. I had been wanting to buy the new model since it came out and thought I could not afford it. Jason Boisvert got me a really good deal with a 36-​month lease, a small down payment, and very affordable monthly payments. I am basically making the same payments as I was with the 2012 Lexus, except for the fact that the new car is fully loaded with extras, such as back-​up cameras, navigation, and sensors, but the other was the basic with no extras.
Ask for Jason Boisvert if you go there to buy or lease. He will do his best to get you a good deal as well as make the process pleasant and stress free.
The finance lady, Sehra, was really nice and friendly too.
By the way, I recently moved to this area from Los Angeles, and was very pleased to find out how reasonable the cost of maintenance service is here compared to Beverly Hills and Santa Monica Lexus. I never shopped or had service done at those dealerships because they are way too expensive.

Mark Mather’s should be used as the industry standard for selling cars. He asked questions, listened to the answers and then took the time to find exactly what we were looking for. This took days, not hours to accomplish, he did not give up or try to sell us something different. His service did not stop there, he went on to work out all our options and found the exact formula that allowed the car to be in our price range.
Once all the paper work was completed, the car driven off the lot, Mark was still checking to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. I called him when a slight glitch occurred, not realizing he was not at work — He called me back within a hour — on his own time.
I have told Mark that when my lease is up we will be coming to see him, I have never experience the level of kindness, knowledge, and service that Mark provided.

Let me just say Wow. From our purchase with Nick to service, this dealership has been fantastic. I would have trouble considering another brand of vehicle, as it would be difficult for me to have my cars serviced elsewhere. I have owned many different car brands and always serviced at the dealer. Lexus of Thousand Oaks has been so consistenly head and shoulders above the other car brands sales and service departments, that we now have 2 Lexus vehicles in our household. There’s just no comparison. They always bend over backward to ensure customer satisfaction, which is so rare these days.

Jacob Golden is an AMAZING resource. He is a very patient and classy gentleman who takes great care of his customers! Big props to Jacob!!!

Wow! What a joke!!! The sales guy we dealt with was this pompous ass with a snooty cockney accent named Paul. We were looking to buy a ct200h & Lexus of TO & DGDG Nissan in Sunnyvale had the exact same car. We had a healthy down payment to offer plus a trade in. So this Paul dude acts like he is doing us this huge favor by running just my hubbys credit (& not mine, which we told him needed to be done because hubby has the better income & I have the better credit)…he called us back & told us we were «rapidly declined». OK, so then we call & talk to a guy at DGDG in Sunnyvale. His name is Mike & he is courteous & professional. Within a few minutes we were approved over the phone & made plans to meet with Mike in Sunnyvale the next day. We got there, were greeted professionally & before we knew it we were driving off in our beautiful ct200h with smiles on our faces & astonished that buying a car from a dealer could actually be quick, easy & I must say fun! AND THEY VOLUNTARILY STEPPED UP & OFFERED TO SAVE US EVEN MORE MONEY: D So, comparing the two is a joke! Now I must say, I am a Thousand Oaks native, an old-​timer from way back before T.O. got so pretentious & snobbish, it’s sad to see what it’s become.

Sales staff is awesome… Service staff is another story.
The men of Servicing are condescending and down right rude. I won’t name names, but please note to review all services conducted when checking out to confirm everything you were quoted was actually done.
Don’t let them rush you through to get to the next customer. Seems to be the culture there.

I don’t often write reviews but my recent service by Lexus and Jacob in service was above and beyond.
Our car was in for minor recall service. When they found out a part wasn’t available until the next day I was given a new Lexus loaner. Free. And ready within minutes.
Jacob called to tell me new wiper blades were needed, which I OK’d. When I arrived to pick up the car, they hadn’t installed the blades yet. So Jacob did — on the spot. FREE.
My car was washed and the gas tank filled. FREE.
First class customer service and value!

My wife and I are leasing our 5 RX-​350 from Lexus of Thousand Oaks. The dealership is top notch because of our sales guy Alex Cherkas and his boss Juninus and their finance manager Reza. They always get us a great deal and treat us well. They are the BEST!

***BEWARE OF SERVICE DEPT*** if you need to come in for recalls or service repairs BE SURE TO CHECK for damages, dents, scratches, scratches in your interior panels, and boot marks inside of your vehicle. It seems the technician’s and the car porters DO NOT care about the customer’s cars. My car came in for 2 repairs and came out with 5 new problems including those mentioned above. If you experience this I recommend calling Lexus Customer Experience and the state agency Bureau of Automotive Repair and filing a complaint. This will get the dealership moving and maybe Allan Vollbreckt the director of Parts & Service will care enough about his department to call you and resolve the problem. Maybe?
Hopefully this review makes it to the owners of the dealership John Anderson, Kenneth Greene, Susan Mejia, and Sandra Russo so they may take a step back and visit to the dealership to see how the service department is performing. I recently placed a call to the General Manager and yet to receive a call back, again…
Purchasing a vehicle is not only based on the service you receive at the time of purchasing, but how you are treated when you have a problem or concern.

We just leased our car with Paul. He had us in and out in 20 minutes. We drove 90 miles with our kids just to seal the deal because this guy was solid when he quoted us his best offer the very first time he told my husband «this is my best offer»
