Although Brent D. George has been practicing law since 1994, he established The Law Offices of Brent D. George in 2009. Although I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, I am a long time Ventura County resident. I live in Wood Ranch with my wife, my 15 year old daughter. I love sports, movies and music. When I am not working and helping clients I like to spend time with my family and if possible, take in a football or baseball game on television or in person.

I provide a free consultation, and I am happy to help out in any way possible.

Brent helped settle a debt for me with affordable payments back in 2011. When I tried to get a pay off balance from the collection company I was given a balance that was more than what I owed to begin with. All my communication with the company was to no avail. They would not change the amount.
I emailed Brent and, even though he was out of town and I was a client from a few years back, he was able to get the letter with the right amount within 30 minutes of my plea for help.

I actually found Brent here on Unilocal when I sought out a BK attorney 5 months ago. I was served papers for an old debt and wasn’t sure what to do. People were telling me not to hire an attorney because I could just file my own paper work= headache! I read the reviews here on Unilocal and called Brent the next day. He was extremely informative about the process and what to expect. He didn’t pressure me at all, as BK is a very delicate and important decision to make. He told me to think about all the info he provided and to call him if I was comfortable moving forward. So glad I made the decision to move forward with Brent! One of the questions for me was to hire an attorney or do my own papers. I met with Brent George and immediately decided it was best to hire him. One he seemed very knowledgeable and two his rate was fair; therefore, why risk a problem without legal counsel to advise you. So I hired him and I’m glad I did. Not because I had a problem. But because I slept better knowing if I did have a problem I knew Brent had my back. Finally at my hearing most everyone who represented themselves had errors in their paperwork and had to come back. Whereas I sailed thru on Brent’s coattails. Every call was returned promptly and emails responded to just as fast. He was a great professional and I am thankful we met.

I was referred to Brent by one of my Co-​workers who had used him previously for his own bankruptcy. Initially, I had contacted him 2 days before Christmas as I was simultaneously served papers to appear in court. Although it was the holiday season, Brent made arrangements for us to meet anyway (which I was truly grateful for in such short notice). During the meeting, he told me exactly what to expect and what I needed to do. He walked me through everything & since I’m a bit of a procrastinator, he made sure I stayed on top of it. Also, his price was reasonable compared to what others are charging out there & for excellent service! You can’t beat that!

When you think your world is caving in all around you with your financial responsibilities and you need advice in the right direction, please see him!
I made an appointment, Arrived at his office, and after introducing himself and seeing the concerned look on my face, he then said; please have a seat and; breathe… You’re going to be fine…
He then chatted with me going over the process. At that time, he gave me a short «T:o Do List» of items he needed to get started with the filing of my Personal Bankruptcy.
Believe me it wasn’t any easy decision, though he had me feeling comfortable with making that decision, in moving forward with this process to get the end result.
He is the best by far in this profession. I have meet others whom I had shared this experience with and had wished, they had known about him when they needed that same assistance, as their experience wasn’t pleasant.
His charges for his service is nominal compared to ALL the paperwork processing that was involved.
I have referred him since and they have also been very satisfied with his knowledge and professionalism.
When it is said and done, the peace of mind he gives you is priceless…

My bankruptcy was not a simple one. Dealing with wage garnishment, high income, child support and many other issues. Brent was able to file my bankruptcy very quickly and successfully. He answered every question I had with experience and knowledge. He returned phone calls and emails very quickly, unlike most attorneys.
Simply put, he did everything he said he would do for the price he quoted.
He was not the least expensive I attorney consulted with, but he did everything he said he would do for the agreed price. There were NO hidden fees or surprise expenses. I have a family member who is not particularly web savvy who found themselves in need of an attorney. So they called me and I spent a couple minutes researching online. Obviously I am a big fan of Unilocal so that was one of the first places I went to find a bankruptcy attorney. There were a couple of lawyers, all with one really good review. All right, then. So I did a little searching online and found some lawyer review sites, yellow pages, etc. Brent had a ton of glowing reviews on those sites but only 1 on Unilocal.I think that is a shame because he is very understanding, which is something that a person needs when they are facing the financial strain of a bankruptcy. I met with him once with my family member (sorry about being vague, bankruptcy is not a thing most people want publicized) and he figured out a plan to help eliminate their debt payments and free up some cash flow.
That is really why I felt compelled to write up a review because a lawyer like Brent should stand out on Unilocal as well.
