History

Established in 2000.

Most of Ashli’s professional experience was in photojournalism, until becoming a mother. It was then that she began to truly embrace the artistic value of the female form, expanding her repertoire to include Boudoir and PinUp Portraits. Ashli loves the playful spirit of PinUp, celebrating female curves, and the positive self-​image that this photographic style lends itself to. You’ve seen her in Shape and InStyle Magazine.

Business Owner

Ashli was brought up with creative expression at the heart of her development, with both parents artists. While attending High School and University she was a photojournalist for the yearbooks and weekly newspapers. Ashli participated in several study-​abroad programs throughout University, and won an award for her travel photography. It wasn’t until becoming a mother that her real respect and admiration for the artistic value of the female form came to be.

I truly want to express to you how amazing Flash me by Ashli is. I had a photo shoot and I wore Lingerie and she made me feel so comfortable and beautiful. Ashli spends a lot of time making sure she gets plenty of amazing shots. Not only is she an amazing photographer and artist she made the photo shoot a great deal of fun.
I just received the touched up photos I chose and wow they came out perfect!!!

I was given a Gift Certificate from a friend and decided to be brave and do a photoshoot with Ashli. First, she is AMAZING! She helped me pick out outfits and made me feel so comfortable the whole time. She really helped guide me with poses and angles and that really helps when someone isn’t the most comfortable behind a camera. My pictures turned out great! She is also a genius with photoshop ladies, so if you have a tummy or body part you are concerned about just pay a little extra to have the image touched up. You won’t regret it! I would highly recommend her to anyone. It was a blast!

This was a fantastic experience. Ashli is both professional and an absolute pleasure to work with! You will have so much fun taking the pictures that the experience itself is worth the price but then… you get the photos. I don’t have a great body especially after having children and I’m in my 40’s but I’ve never looked this good EVER. Everyone should do this for themselves, for their spouses… and just for fun. Ashli is so much fun to work with. She makes you feel comfortable and gorgeous. She is well prepared, professional and clearly loves what she does. I decided to do a «boudoir» portrait for my husband for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. I was so nervous to do something like this because i’m so uncomfortable with my own body. But i knew my husband would love it, so i decided to do it. I was extremely nervous about the shoot for several days prior, but from the first contact with Ashli, she made me feel totally comfortable. I explained my hesitation and my «issues» and she said she works with women all the time and not to worry. She sent me a list of things to do before the shoot that were very helpful in preparation.
The day of the shoot I arrived at her house and immediately felt at ease with Ashli. She assured me it was just she and I in her beautiful home that was transformed into a photo studio, complete with all sorts of props. She offered me a glass of wine which couldn’t have come at a better time; it was just enough to take the edge off and allow me to relax and really enjoy the time. She spent over 2 hours with me and was very respectful of the parts of my body i was uncomfortable with. she was extremely considerate of the time constraint i was under to get the photos processed in time for our anniversary. I couldn’t believe how beautiful she made me look in these photos! And my husband was overjoyed! Thank you so much Ashli — I appreciate your kindness and your professionalism — I hope others can experience what I have. Thanks again!

I’ve never felt so comfortable when working with a photographer. Ashli made sure I was prepared before the shoot which was incredibly helpful. She sent a detailed set of things to do before the shoot, things to keep in mind, as well as just helpful tips for the actual photo shoot. She made it such a comfortable experience. By the time the date came up, I felt completely prepared.
When I arrived Ashli made me feel so comfortable. She was incredibly polite and very professional. Her set up was incredible. She had a great selection as props as well as pin up style clothing to use for the shoot.
The photos came out absolutely amazing. I am so happy with them! I felt so beautiful. I am so glad to have worked with Ashli.

Ashli was fantastic! I was a little nervous going into this, but Ashli is so energetic and passionate about what she does, it was impossible to hold onto those nerves upon walking through the door!
She sent a detailed email in the week leading up to the shoot, to help prepare me for what to expect, including some helpful tips (e.g. drinking lots of water, avoiding tanning too soon before in order to avoid tan lines etc.).
The shoot itself was so much fun! I can’t explain how comfortable Ashli made the whole process– she even provided sparkling wine! And you would not believe all the amazing vintage props she has. perfect for any pin up idea.
I want all of my girlfriends to experience how beautiful Ashli makes you feel. Definitely a fun idea for any occasion!

Pin-​up photos are classic and alluring! They are a celebration of curves, because curves are what make pin-​ups look fantastic! Still, pin-​up and boudoir photos can be daunting to take… There is a vulnerability in exposing ourselves for a photographer or (*gasp*) a camera!
With Ashli, it’s different. It’s just hanging out and the opportunity to be silly and gorgeous with one of the girlfriends. I’ve only had photos taken a few times, but she gave the best prep instructions I have ever received from a photographer! I felt like a model when I walked in her door… I was ready to be on camera because she had provided such great instructions. And once there, I was impressed by her set up, her eye for texture, and her fantastic collection of retro props!
And, the photos! Holy Wow! I almost fell out of my chair when I got my proofs back! First, she fulfilled one of my life dreams by taking a specific, super-​fun picture of me. I cannot wait to frame it on my wall! These were for myself. However, I must say, if I had been taking them as a gift for someone special, her «Little Black Book» is the PERFECT commemorative photo gift! …I’ll be keeping it in mind for Valentine’s and holidays to come!
