Obstetrical service is comprehensive, including both high and low risk pregnancies. Ultrasound services on site.

Gynecologic services including annual exams, preconception counselling,

menopause evaluation, counseling & treatment, bio-​identical hormone counseling, osteoporosis management, infertility evaluation and contraception.

Surgical services for heavy menses, irregular bleeding, fibroids, ovarian cysts and other gynecologic issues. Dr. Ghausi performs minimally invasive surgery with fast recovery times!

History

Established in 2006.

Dr. Ghausi completed his ob/​gyn residency at USC. He was most recently nominated to Chief of the Ob/​gyn department at Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center. His office is conveniently located adjacent to Los Robles Hospital.

Dr. Ghausi was born in New York, grew up in Connecticut and moved to Thousand Oaks his senior year in high school. After undergraduate at UCSD, Dr. Ghausi completed medical school in Kansas City. He then moved back to California for residency at USC. Currently, Dr. Ghausi is living and working in the Conejo Valley. When he is not busy with the office, delivering babies and surgery, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, yoga and hockey

I absolutely love Dr Ghausi and his staff! They are always so kind and helpful. From my first visit he took his time to listen to my health background and found a diagnosis that I had been dealing with and told several doctors that just kept saying «its hormonal.» He was proactive and found a solution after one visit! :)
I just had surgery with him yesterday and he was already checking in today to see how was I doing. I was new to the area and was so nervous finding a new doctor but I couldn’t be happier with my choice. Thanks to Dr. Ghausi and his staff for being the best of the best!

Dr. Ghausi and his staff are terrific! Professional and courteous, highly recommend. Dr. Ghausi answered all of my questions and gave me recommendations for herbal supplements to cope with menopause issues. I wish I had found him much earlier!

Dr Ghausi is an amazing doctor! Came to him when I was about 6 – 7 Months pregnant, because I didn’t like my other doctor. He’s very friendly, caring and listened to all my concerns. He may look young but he knows what he’s doing! His back office assistant is such a sweet lady! (The front MAs not so much) I had a great experience coming here during my pregnancy I can’t wait to go back when I’m pregnant again! Unfortunately he wasn’t able to deliver me because he was at a wedding, but the doctor that covered for him was great too! I’m glad my cousin told me about him, I highly suggest you go to him too!

Dr Ghausi is receiving 5 star based on level of service, medical knowledge, office staff and wait time. He is very friendly and is up to date on gyno issues. I asked him questions on studies or other items I read on the internet and he didn’t look at me with a blank stare. I value a doctor who keeps up with what is going on in their field of specialty. His nursing and office staff are so friendly and flawlessly bill insurance, fax paperwork, make calls etc. — they do everything that you need them to do as a patient without having to call to remind them multiple times. In addition, I LOVE that I’ve never waited over 30 minutes to see him. The average wait is 15 – 20 minutes. He delivers at Los Robles. I recommend Dr Ghausi.

To those on the hunt for great OB look no further. Dr. Ghausi and his staff are both attentive, caring and all around a dream office while pregnant.

This review I’m writing is way over due! Like 1 year over due. I was referred to Dr. Ghausi by a friend (that was also prego at the time) when I found out I was 6 weeks pregnant with my first. I couldn’t continue going to my original OBGYN because he was way to far for me to drive being as I live her in Thousand Oaks Dr. Ghausi was much more convenient. I do have to say I was a little hesitant because he does look super young but my friend assured me he was pretty awesome. And she was 100% right he is… Awesome! For being my first pregnancy I know I was super neurotic and nervous about the whole situation… and probably annoyed the heck out of him and his wonderful staff with all my calls. But they were all so amazing and supportive. So again I’m so very happy I found Dr. Ghausi and his staff. Not planning on another baby anytime soon but when I do I will being going back to him. Thanks you guys again… Dr. Ghausi, Becky, Martha and Janet you all ROCK!!!

This review is 2 years past due!!! I should have done this review long ago. Dr Ghausi is the most amazing, caring and at the same time incredibly professional Ob/​Gyn I have ever experienced. It took me a while to find the right Ob when I moved to Ventura Co. I was scared with my first pregnancy and wanted an Ob with a great bedside manner and knowledge, of course! He was so attentive to all my questions and concerns. When my first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage he was so incredible in a time that was very difficult. He gave me great care and compassion. 3 months later I was preggers again :) I delivered at Los Robles and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Dr. Ghausi. It brings tears just remembering my daughters birth and how wonderful Dr Ghausi was in making it a joyful experience. Thank you Dr Ghausi!!!

This really wasn’t a bad first time visit. The staff were friendly enough, and the Dr did his job. But as I left, I had the feeling I had been rushed through my visit. I felt my questions had been given pretty vague answers, and he acted as though he had else where to be. Perhaps I caught him on a bad day, because Dr. Ghausi seemed very nice, and I was hoping I’d found a doctor I’d love. Definitely not a bad review, but just an okay visit.

I recently delivered a 9lb healthy baby girl. All I can say is that he is excellent. I am over 40 and this is my second child. He ensured that I saw the best doctors throughout my pregancy. I would recommend him. He is easy to talk to and professional at all times. The staff is great as well.

I started seeing Dr. Ghausi very recently and so far I’m a huge fan. I recently required some gynecological care and didn’t have a doctor in the Westlake area. My general doctor recommended Dr. Ghausi along with several female doctors. Typically I prefer a female gynecologist because I figure they’ll relate to the female experience better than a man. But I gave him a try and I’m glad I did! He’s super nice, very easy to talk to and doesn’t make me feel self-​conscious talking about my issues. I will admit, when I first met him I thought he was young enough to be my son and I couldn’t figure out how this kid could possibly understand vaginas! But he’s older than he looks and he definately knows what he’s talking about. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a cool doctor and a great gynecologist.
