Conejo Food & Wine Fest

This was a phenomenal experience! Trash cans were empty, and the water bucket were cool and always filled with water bottles. The check in process for online tickets consisted of the longest lines. The St Paschal’s church tables and bathrooms were clean, had plenty of space and were a delight.
Easy ups were set up for each of the vendors and were clean, well run, filled with friendly people who provided speedy tastings and information without causing a massive line buildup!
This was an excellent way to spend 4 relaxing hours. $ 75 for two people, all you can eat or drink. The best part? Every penny goes to charity! (Foodshare and Manna)
We olive — delicious samples of olive tapanade and olive oil.
Love bites had raw chocolate which is very bitter if you don’t expect it, but then is very very tasty.
Veggie grill — had a very delicious spicy chicken sandwich which was completely vegetarian. They also had buffalo chicken bites and a fantastic carrot cake.
BJs. Came with their watermelon salad and jamabalaya paired with their seasonal beer and blonde.
Shave it brought half their shaved ice menu which was a nice welcome relief from the sun.
Snapper Jack’s actually did not bring fish tacos which gave me the opportunity to try their steak and chicken tacos. Of course they brought their Yolanda salsa.
Stonefire grill brought their a game with a quinoa salad, a delicious meat options, and a pesto pasta.
Tia brought gelato. The most interesting was a rose strawberyy. They also had a good chocolate and a noteable cookie butter.
San Vincente is second fav winery. Their «jojojevese» is a rec.
Café firenze classed the place up with a wild boar ragu contrasted with a parsley pesto.
Enegren proved themselves a strong competitor in the local microbrewery scene bringing a tasty blonde and their Valkyrie brew.
Nothing but Bundt almost closed shop early when they sold out of red velvet, lemon, white chocolate cakes.
Mouthful eatery presented a full meal with a corn zucchini roast, a summer slaw, and shredded pork.
LAB brewery said they left amgen behind and started brewing the best beer ever. The black helmet was more delicious amd refreshing than Guinness could ever hope to be.
Magnavino presented a full line up for their tasting.
Merlins kitchen won the prize for presentation with a cute cup of tomato bisque with a perfectly adorably matched grilled cheese.
Valley bakery had a pheonomal Puerto Rican cream cheese puff pastry, along with choco covered strawberries, and brownies.
Giessinger wines blew their competition out of the water with super unique wines presented in a full multi course tasting settiy that kept you coming back for more «forgiveness». The bf who makes a habit of touring wineries places them in top for nomliciousness and service.
Wolfcreek provided salad and brownie… oddly enough no taps visible, but just growlers.
Opolo brought very non offensive pinot which anyone could easily down the red was a little strong in taste
9021Pho presented a delicious deep fried fish with a perfectly balanced slaw. Their business card doubled as a $ 5 off coupon which was possibly the best marketing gimmick here today!
L’drafts presented a good tomato cream tortellini.
Billy d’s also came out swinging with a phenomenal corn bread, spicy brisket chili, bbq chicken and beef. Yet another strong almost full meal tasting
Firestone came with the usual suspects of the union jack, the dba, and possibly the 805.
I will most certainly be coming back!

Well organized affair with vendors who showcased their faire, wine and beer. Large food portions but most importantly, DELICIOUS! Participated by owner of their wineries and/​or restaurants. It was a GREAT way to end our weekend! I hope they do it again next year!!!
