Love Love love this place! Greg just totally saved me! I hit a curb while parking and blew up my new tire. I came right over and they found a tire for me and squeezed me in for an appointment. I cannot say enough about this place! So great!

The difference between Big Brand Tires and Other Service shops is the very nice way Big Brand deals with me I feel they treat me like family. The big difference the whole team is very Professional very kind Big difference is Greg assistant Manager and his team makes sure you know your vehicle and feel safe when you leave. Buy at Costco or elsewhere. They do not pass-​through warranties on tires (not for Michelin at least). I have 4 Michelins that had about 30% to 35% wear on the tread. Went over a half-​curb very slowly and it caused one tire to blow. Every time in my life I’ve accidentally had a tire blow (once) or gotten a nail in a tire (several times), I always was credited a pro-​rated amount against the original purchase price. Big Brand doesn’t do that. What’s more, they made no effort to facilitate me doing that directly with Michelin. I spent some time on the phone with Michelin and they’ve done what they can to assist, but it will not include getting a pro-​rated rebate on a tire that shouldn’t have blown.

Ask yourself why is this place so busy? It’s because they really care about the work they do. I worked with Seth to get new tires for my Porsche 911 and he made sure that everything went smoothly especially with fresh Pilot Super Sport tires. He went the extra mile on the 4 wheel alignment and I went on an immediate road trip. Everything felt great. The manager and staff are easy to work with.

My fiancé and I picked up a nail in our tire while driving out Camarillo for a family birthday. After being recommended to Big Brand Tire by the local Audi dealership, we showed up an hour before they closed for the evening. Jason was there to greet us and quick to get the process started. They patched the hole in the tire and didn’t charge us for the service. What a great experience!

Phenomenal service every time. The staff is exceptionally courteous. I’m certainly no mechanic, but I am very proactive about keeping my car in good condition. I used to take my care to Jiffy Lube for oil changes and such, but now I do all my regular service (tire rotation, brakes, transmission service, oil change) at Big Brand Tire. They have great integrity as well– they don’t try to «up-​sell» anything outrageous. They just give the customer the facts and let them make the decisions about their vehicle.

This one star review is going to be based on the experience I had with them the second time I brought my vehicle in. I have an 04 BMW M3 and based on their reviews, I took my vehicle to have all my 4 tires replaced and alignment (recommended by them) 2 weeks ago. They also gave me the option to change the toe settings to standard to have the tire wear last longer or keep the aggressive setting where my tires would wear out quicker. I do not race nor is it a daily driven car so I asked to change it to standard. The first visit was great especially the communication with Seth and everything was done within 2 – 3 hours. Had my bf pick it up and drive it back home.
I drove it for the first time to woodland hills a few days ago and it sure didnt’ feel right. I noticed driving in freeway speeds felt like my car had a mind of its own. I had no control of the car whatsoever and felt so unsafe that I literally had to drive below the speed limit on the slow lane to the valley and back. So, I called BBT today and told them the situation and they were willing to look at it.
Now, this is where my experience with them went all down hill.
I brought my bfs dad with me since he is a mechanic himself and has common sense knowledge on vehicles. I spoke to Jason at the front desk and I explained to him the situation. He said he was 90% sure that it was the tires I bought because «everyone» complains about those specific tires. My bfs dad told him it wasn’t the tires because he drove it himself and noticed that the rear tires were set way off and he could see it when he followed me to the shop. Basically looked like I was driving on the edge of the wheel. We asked them to set it back to however it was before. Jason then said they didn’t change anything other than the camber of the rear 2 tires. My bfs dad called him out and pointed at our print out/​receipt of the day we got it serviced and said «yes you did the numbers said it right here.» From there I think Jason noticed that he knew what he was talking about. They took my car in to inspect and was told it would be about an hour and they’ll call when its done.
So 3 hours passed by and I called them, spoke to Greg and told me that they were about to finish up and will call me back in a few minutes to let me know what the problem was. Waited ANOTHER 40 minutes and decided to go back there without waiting for them to call. Found my car parked outside, went to the office and what do you know. Two guys (one of them Greg) sitting at the front desk just chatting away not doing anything. Once they noticed I was the BMW costumer, Greg goes «Oh so your vehicle.» and explained everything right there. Obviously they forgot about me because I didn’t get a call back. My bfs dad checked the numbers and said that the numbers aren’t back to the original settings, but it was close enough. Greg also tries to blame the tires and then recommended us to fix the bushings stated on the printout/​receipt we received for today. Funny thing is, 2 weeks ago the print out on the first service said that the bushings and everything else is fine.
The bfs dad drove the vehicle home and tested it again. He said it was much better than before, but not the same before we took it in. My bf has noticed that it now curves to the right when you let go of the steering wheel, but agreed that it was much better than before.
First and foremost, my bf and I aren’t stupid, we do alot of research and reviews before buying ANY product and the tires we bought had great reviews from the bmw enthusiast blog website and was tested on a newer M3 model. I will not be taking my services to BBT in the future. I felt ripped off and dishonest for the extra $ 100 of alignment «work» and didn’t really fix the problem 100%. They probably messed up something else since I took it in the second time to have them fix their mistake. I’m sure they have great mechanics, but not for my vehicle. I should have known better and took it to a BMW specialist that knows their stuff and paid more money.
I dislike leaving negative reviews, but I am almost 9 months pregnant and I could’ve gotten into a car accident because they didn’t do the alignment correctly. Also, the sales people upfront need to know their stuff before trying to talk to a person that knows alot more than they do.

Did an excellent job on switching out on my power steering pump. Very happy with how much they charged me. I also got an oil change to! Octavio was the guy who worked on my truck and I would recommend him !!

It’s really hard to find people you trust with your car these days. I am happy to say I can finally stop looking.
Big Brand is the place to go. Friendly, knowledgable staff and great prices. You don’t need to go anywhere else!

I ran over a screw and googled tire shops in T. O… That shop said they don’t repair tires and recommend this place. Drove there and they fit. Me in, said that they fix flats FREE of charge and hopefully I come back when I need new tires or some other mechanical work… I was surprised that this is a normal service of theirs. When I need new tires I will be going back to them.

Love this team! I’ve been a customer for 10 years with cars and trucks, including a Lexus 450h and a Yukon Denali and a Chevy Avalanche. They’ve always delivered outstanding service with skill and honesty. I would not take my vehicles anywhere else. :)

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with this shop. I specifically asked about they’re lug nut torque procedure. And, the guy at the front desk assured me they put the torque spec on the worksheet and use a torque wrench. So I asked do you install them with an air-​gun first and he again assured me the lugs are installed loose so they can be torqued properly.
I watched the tech and sure enough he zipped the lugs on tight and then a another tech came by with a torque wrench, but the lugs were already over torqued! [fail…]
When I got home and checked the lugs with my calibrated torque wrench, all the lugs were 25 – 30 ft/​lbs over torque. If they were torqued to 90 [spec] it should take ~95 to loosen them, all my lugs were around 120, [read air gun]! The issue with over-​torquing is it may cause damage to the stud and they may fail.
Another issue was the tires were over pressurized. The spec on their worksheet is 38 psi and when checked cold, all were all in the low to mid 40’s which made for a harsh ride?!
The silver-​lining was they have a good alignment guy he went the extra mile to get it right.
I was sent a survey and mentioned these issues and haven’t heard any word them? I guess they don’t care? This isn’t rocket science, they just need to find techs that care about what they’re doing.

This place is a short jog from my house so i’ve been going here for our oil changes as well as tires and alignment. I’ve always liked the prices and service, but today’s experience had me sold as a customer for life — i brought my wife’s car in to get the tire patched as a nail was in it. They called me back and told me the nail was in the sidewall and the tire needed to be replaced. Quoted me on parts and labor. I went in to pick it up and was ready to pay, when they told me that i got the tires there and had purchased the tire warranty for 8 dollars so the tire and the labor were no charge. It was like getting 90 bucks right back in my wallet, and of course i bought the plan on the new tire.
I was impressed that not only the warranty was so easily redeemed, but that they went out of their way to look it up for me because i would have paid for it and never remembered that i bought the warranty. Very happy customer.

My disappointment for Big Brand Tire has grown over the past 2 years.
–I bought a truck and wanted them to go over EVERYTHING. They said all was good but the steering still felt weird. I took it to a different store and turned out my Pitman arm and Idler arm were worn badly. So i took it back to Big Brand (since I liked them at the time), and had them install these parts, which they should have noticed the 1^st time.
–I had them install ball joints on my truck, charging me $ 80 a ball joint for a cheap cheap Chinese part. The steering was very stiff, and I brought it back to them twice to diagnose the stiffness. They said they had no idea what was wrong. So again, I took it to another shop and turned out those newly installed ball joints were very tight in general (bad part). I replaced the ball joints at the other store with a good brand and the steering was great. I went into Big Brand to get my money back for parts and labor, and they argued saying I didn’t give them a shot to fix it when in fact, I did. I took it to them TWICE to tell me what was wrong and they said it was all good. Corporate finally reimbursed me.
–My last big issue with them are the tires I purchased. I bought a whole new set of tires for my truck and within 3000 miles they started vibrating on the freeway. After 8000 miles I had one tire replaced under warranty because it looked like an octagon. I was rotating my tires on schedule but they still wore badly. After putting only 11,000 miles on them, I was re-​balancing them every month. This issue is on the tire, not Big Brand, but what they did to me next is why i was disappointed. I called Big Brand and told them I absolutely hate these tires, and begged them to help me get into a better tire. I was not looking for a full credit on the tires, but at least a little credit to help the purchase of another set not hurt my pocket book so much. They told me they would have to call the factory to see if I can warranty the tires. I told them at least a discount on the new tires would suffice. But they assured me they would call me back to see what the factory’s policy was. I never received a phone call. I called another Tire Shop and without hassle, they gave me $ 150 for my tires and I got a new set of tires.
In conclusion,
If you are an old lady who knows NOTHING about cars or car parts, this is a great shop for you. They will be polite, and always smile. But their incompetence, and lack of «common sense understanding» is what ruined it for me. I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because their corporate center is very polite and I do appreciate a polite attitude.

Very good customer service. Matt was great and went out of his day to help me. It’s never fun getting a screw in your run flat perellis but they helped make it easier.
