Xtreme Challenge Gladiator Arena

Had a bodacious time here with our bachelor party. If you like aggressive competition — this is your jam. All sorts of challenges such as the battle sticks, wrecking ball, and elastic tug of ware. The price was a bit steep for us only being 6 people (~$ 225). but is the same price for up to 12 — which gives you an hour or so of activity.
The gym was well thought out and the guy running the events was overly friendly and enthusiastic (even with the hungover bachelor). You really, really get a work out in!
The location is pretty convenient too !

Great place for my sons birthday. They have different activities for different ages which i thought was pretty cool. michael and staff ran the show and were very professional. Top notch.

This place is AWESOME! I had the best 23^rd birthday ever! The first couple of minutes they made me demonstrate all the events so we knew what to do, but then we all got to try them. They really keep you moving with activities, and never let people stand in lines waiting for events. I will definitely be coming back again!

Not worth it for ages 12+.
Have done it with a group of 12 and now a group of 25. The first time, I did not know what to expect so it was ok. The second (and last) time was the exact same, even though we specifically asked for more team building and challenge events.
If you’re thinking «road rules» or «american gladiator» challenges, think again. Basically they have you play in a pit of bouncy balls for 15min. The first hour, they have some fun team challenges and maybe a team building exercise or two.
The second hour they turned on some music and basically let us «play around» in the gym. Everyone just sat around, it was pretty boring. Left a disappointing taste in our mouths after.
Will NOT be spending another dime here, nor recommending to any of my other friends. Good potential, just bad customer service and way too pricey for what they give you. Feel free to contact me if you want more info.

I LOVE this place. Former American Gladiator Kyler Storm is the dude in charge who brought this to Denver. Apparently some of the elements that are used in the «arena» at X-​treme Challenge (newly renamed from X-​treme Fun) are games that Kyler made up when he was little, playing in his back yard.
I’ve taken all ages of kids here, and even organized a day for my co-​workers to play at X-​treme Challenge. It’s always a good time. Most recently, I brought the 14 – 18 year old girls I coach soccer for, on a trip to X-​treme Challenge. I was a little worried that they wouldn’t get in to it, they would pull the «too cool for school» card, and that my $ 16 per person would be wasted. Luckily, the enthusiasm of the staff there encouraged them to let loose and not worry about breaking a sweat.
Physics play a key part in a number of the challenges and if you bring a group of kids, the staff are really good about taking advantage of all the teachable moments when explaining each challenge. On the other hand, if you are there with a group of friends or co-​workers (I recommend going with a group of at least 10), there are plenty of activities where you can push, shove, and wrestle, all in the name of fun.
If you enjoy being active, competitive, and are young at heart, I recommend you go here for your next birthday. For real. Even if you are turning 35 on your next birthday. Go.
