If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I recently visited Fuzzys and my first bite of a shredded beef taco revealed a LONGHAIR. Not just any hair, but one that was so entwined in the rest of the taco, it suspended my spat out first bite mid-air. The manager was not eager to address the situation either. I waited around for 10 minutes before getting a refund. Wow! $ 5 back, I won’t be going here again.

Hip, lively taco shop. I fell in love with Fuzzy’s in Ft. Collins, CO while visiting my daughter at CSU. The Thornton Fuzzy’s has a very different vibe(as one might expect, since Thornton isn’t a college town), but the food was just as good. The parking lot is smallish for the size of the restaurant and, believe me, the restaurant was hopping. It’s a bit noisy, but with a full bar, great tacos, and TVs everywhere, this seems like the perfect place to catch a game with friends.

YUMMM. This chain dime of a Mexican restaurant has great prices and even better food for the cost. Menu is large and accommodating to any kind of eater, you can also customize anything on the menu. If your starving definitely order the nachos. The plate is HEAPING I cannot imagine finishing this myself. If you know anything about me you know I am drastically deprived of Mexican food in DC. Fuzzys definitely met my expectations. I got a chicken burrito, sub refried beans for black beans no rice and smothered in green chili. Holy goodness. Next time I might have to smother in queso and green chili. Others in my party for the quesadilla and enchiladas with both kinds of rice. Everyone was stuffed and content! Inside has a large amount of seating. Ranging from high tops, tables, and booths. There is definitely room for any kind of party. Order at the front then they keenly call your name when your order is ready at the window. Kind of reminds me of a BBQ joint. They also had a large section of beer-margaritas and margaritas. Salsa was a little different but delicious! This chain is a great adorable choice!

My husband and I love this place. We have a business right across the street and eat here at least once a week. They even deliver to us when we can’t leave. My favorite is the chicken burrito smothered with pork green chili and my husband’s favorite is the taco plate.

Today my two sons and I decided we would give this place a try. As I’ve worked in the food industry for over 15 year, I was a bit thrown by the name and said heck no. However I’m here eating and my kids love the food as I do as well. Angelic was the young lady that took our order and gave me ideas on what to have. Great food and environment. I hope as time goes on for this place they turn it into an actual restaurant. I know this will not be our last trip. Great place and what a wonderful employee they have.

This place tries to make up in quantity for what it lacks in quality. People rave about the nachos and. sure, it comes out on a dish that is about 4 times the size of my stomache. but it consisted of a mound of chips covered in a plastic looking cheese sauce and that’s about it. I ordered it with the extras. jalapeños and tomatoes, etc.. but it had maybe 2 small pieces of each. I want black olives, tomatoes, maybe some beans, baked on(not spooned on) cheese on my nachos. This place had none of it. Very disappointing!

Just to be clear, I am giving the a 2 and not a 1ONLY because the lady Angelic who took my order over the phone was one of the most pleasant people I have ever spoke with. I ordered a tempura shrimp taco, the shrimp was hard and over cooked and there wasn’t any flavor to the taco. I also ordered a plate of fajita nachos with Jalapenos. I got back to work with the food, the nachos had no cheese on them, the meat was burnt and there were like 5 tiny strips of meat. For $ 9 I expect more. So my nachos literally consisted of: chips, 5 pieces of meat, tiny bit of feta cheese and about a tablespoon of pico and did not get any jalapenos. I will not be visiting this establishment again and will tell everyone I know not to as well.

Very good food. First time here and was impressed by the flavors and atmosphere. Looks way nicer than I thought it would from the outside on the inside. Try their tacos. Very good. I had a smothered bean and cheese burrito and it was very good. Bring the kids. The taco kids meal has a ton of food for the price. Give it a try. We will be coming back again!

Great place for cheap, fast and yummy tacos! The place is a little messy and can be confusing at first. You first have to order at the bar/cashier area(food and booze) after you can go find a table and wait for your name to be called… When your name is called, you have to go pick up your order at the counter area. It’s a help yourself kind of place. On a Friday night this place can get busy fast! So go in with friends and have someone find and save a table for your group.

The flavors are delicious, the help is super friendly, there always seems to be a good place to sit even when it’s busy, but the portion size for the price leaves me feeling like this will be a treat rather than my regular Mexican food joint. Bummer! Bump up the portion size and I’ll gladly move my review to 5 stars.

I was disappointed. I had noticed a lot of cars around this place when I drove by, so I wrongly assumed the food was great. It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t anything to write home about. I ordered a fish taco that had very little fish and was overcooked. I’m glad I asked for the«garlic sauce» on the side. It turned out to be ranch dressing with some garlic mixed in. I also ordered the borracho beans. These are supposed to be beans cooked in beer and bacon. They were extremely watery and had a strong beer taste. There was a limp little piece of bacon fat hanging over the edge of the bowl. Not very appetizing! My companion and I ordered chips and salsa. The chips were dusted with chili powder and salt, and were accompanied by some lukewarm canned green chili with a ton of salt. The place was noisy and really more like a bar than a restaurant. I don’t think I’ll be returning, unless someone I’m with insists. Besides, the whole«fuzzy taco» and«eat me» vibe is kind of icky.

First timer… I’m giving 5stars for the perfect house margarita! The tacos were great as well! My husband had to try one of everything but recommends the tempura shrimp and spicy pork Baja tacos. We also loved that you could walk in on a Friday night and have your food and drink in front of you in a short amount of time! PS– it’s not feta cheese… it cotija cheese :)

The city of Thornton is definitely lacking in diverse restaurant so I was pretty excited for this new place to open up. I also heard great things about the Arvada location so one can say I was quite eager to try this place out. I was running some errands around that neck of the woods when I decided to drop in for take out. Honesty, I had the envision of Fuzzy’s Taco to be similar to Chipotle or Rubio’s; boy, was I so off. Fuzzy’s Taco is a hybrid between a dine-in restaurant, fast food, and a bar. The place is loud not only from the loud music, but the décor as well. Music was so loud that it made ordering difficult. However, I did managed to order two a la carte tacos: California heat with grilled shrimp and shredded spicy pork and chips & pork green chile. When the order is ready, they actually announce it on an intercom. Going with the loud theme, the intercom is obnoxiously loud. Nonetheless, my order came out quick. I was quite surprise by the amount of chips they gave with the chips & chile order. It was a lot, I am not complaining though. However, the green chile was not spectacular; it was average. As for the tacos, I really did enjoyed the California heat. It was delicious. Another Unilocal review stated that the feta cheese on the tacos are just plain wrong, I would have to disagree. It added a nice unique flavor to the tacos. Moreover, I was disappointed in the shredded spicy pork taco. It wasn’t even spicy. I would definitely recommend paying more for the California heat. The food at Fuzzy’s can be better, but for the price it is not a bad place.

So much potential, but who puts feta cheese on tacos??? Otherwise… food is plain and boring. If you’ve read any of my other reviews you know I’m all about the tacos. So, after a co-worker tells me about this place I’m excited, ready for some great tacos since it’s called a «Taco Shop», surely it must have great tacos. Wrong! Menu is pretty simple, I ordered three tacos, shredded chicken, spicy pork, and grilled fish. All come on un-warmed, mass produced, soft corn tortillas with the same toppings(garlic sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese, cilantro, and feta). Feta??? Who puts feta on a taco??? While I’m totally down with trying new toppings, feta doesn’t work at all. Feta is delicious on Greek salad, but has no place in a taco. Ignoring the feta, the food is just boring. Protein is bland, doesn’t stand out from the pile of toppings, and is basically just mush. It’s Mexican food for people who are scared of Mexican food. Do yourselves a favor and go to one of the many hole in the wall taco places that will do a much better job of satisfying your taco craving. No complaints about the location or service, in fact everyone I ran into was extremely friendly. Friendly service doesn’t make up for bad food though so I won’t be back.

This place is definitely the bomb, like tic tic… We checked out this place on a recommendation from a friend and I have to admit, this place was definitely a diamond in the rough. The North Washington location was super busy, but we probably waited 10 minutes for our dinner. I ordered the steak fajita plate and everything was piping hot and totally fresh. The staff were all very friendly and the restaurant was clean. The serving size was ginormous for what you pay, so I would definitely share the fajita plate with someone… I’d say 2 thumbs way up for this place! We’ll definitely be back!

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop just opened their second Denver metro location this week, and for once, a hip, happening spot opens in my ‘hood! Fuzzy’s is a counter-service Baja-style taco joint, known for delicious eats and huge margaritas. I stopped in for takeout after work tonight. Prices are very reasonable for the portions in most cases. Three of us ate well for $ 25(no booze or drinks, though.) I’d recommend staying away from the combo plates. Hubby got the enchilada/taco combo, and it was a ridiculously paltry plate — one tiny cheese enchilada, a crispy beef taco, a handful of potatoes and a scoop of Mexican fried rice. Despite the size, he really liked his taco and would order a couple of those again. My son had two ground beef tacos with a side of refried beans. Here’s the weird thing — his order of beans was huge! I don’t get it; you’d think the side orders would be the same size but I guess not. Loved the feta cheese on the tacos and really loved the beans. I ordered a shrimp burrito with no guacamole and chips and salsa. This is where they lost luster — the girl at the register confirmed when I got there that I didn’t want guacamole. When I picked up my bag they confirmed no guacamole. What was smeared all over my burrito? Guacamole! Oh and black beans, too, which I hate and didn’t realize we’re on this burrito. Oddly enough, the guacamole was pretty good, so I just ate around the beans and lived with it. And the salsa is awesome! They serve it warm and it had just a little heat. Things I’m not crazy about here: parking is a mess — there are a couple spots in front, so you’ll be parking in the back, but even then, they’re hurting for space! Hope they can figure this out. Also, picking up a call ahead order is chaotic. I stood in line for ten minutes just to be shuttled to the bar to pay, then over to the kitchen line to get my food. Make it easier on carry out customers, kids! I’m giving four stars because I think a lot of their issues are due to being new. We’ll see how it’s going later. Welcome to the neighborhood, Fuzzy’s!
