Allstate Insurance: Deborah Guest

Let me preface this by saying that for the 9 years that I have been driving Allstate has been my insurer for 7 of those years. I say this so that it will put my opinion in a better perspective.
I moved here from out of state and requested a new quote on my car insurance. I had sold one of my two cars and expected a sizable drop in my premium. It went down by about 10%. My wife called up and asked about it and the woman who answered was rude and said that the autorized insurer would call back and hung up. when the insurer called (Tom Coker was his name) he gave my wife four different quotes of varying levels of coverage. I thought that that was rediculous and went to progressive and got better coverage for HALF of what Allstate. I called Tom back and asked him to meet the quote. He wouldnt come down at all. I said that was fine and asked to cancel my policy. He said he couldnt do that he needed a signature. I him to send me the form. He said that there was no form they just needed a signature. So i sent him my signature on a piece of lined notebook paper that said cancel my policy… rediculous.
Bottom line after seven years of allstate ripping me off I had had enough. Go to progressive or heck anyone else just NOT Allstate
