Flourish is an encouragement store — we sell items such as organic makeup, natural, vegan, gluten-​free skin care, necklaces to aid with hot flashes, uv block clothing, and gifts to inspire! We also cater to expecting & new mommies with items as well, from bras to Chewbeads. We have a special interest in all cancer survivors, with skin care specifically formulated for them, wigs (a private wig room), lymphedema sleeves, and breast prosthesis. We can also do Sunshine Boxes for those who would like to buy gifts, but are not sure what to give someone who has been diagnosed.

History

Established in 2014.

When co-​founder Gerriann was diagnosed at 31 with breast cancer, she had a hard time finding things in town to help her make treatment a little less ugly. She realized her purpose in life is to give back and provide these items for other people going through the same thing. Together with her friend, they embarked on the journey, but as they began their research, they realized that EVERYONE is going through something that we could help make a little nicer. The mission statement was clear: provide items that were practical, affordable, and encouraging. The store was created to help people do just that in hard times — flourish no matter what the situation.
