Skydive Atlanta

Skydive Atlanta was great. I had a blast skydiving for the first time and Rich my tandem instructor was awesome. I went with a group of 8 and we were all extremely pleased with our experience. Rich and I were the only ones to land on our feet as well, that just proves that he knows exactly what he’s doing. I highly recommend these guys and I will definitely be back.

I checked all of the skydiving facilities around Atlanta, and they had the best safety record I could find. went with my daughter, and had a great experience, with the instructors being top notch.

This place is bullshit. I turned in a waiver saying my weight and height and they confirmed me that I could go. Then I got here with my group and they wouldn’t let me go because I was 10 pounds over their 265 weight limit that was not on any place I checked. So I had to sit around for 4 hours waiting for my group. They were unfriendly about it and I would not recommend this place

Today was my first time ever skydiving, and it certainly will not be my last. They are very professional, and my instructor was very cool and told me anything I wanted to know. If you get the courage and want to try this fantastic sport, then I would recommend this place.

This place is great! My sister and I went for a tandem skydiving. The instructors made us feel safe, gave us great instructions and we had an amazing time. Michael and Rich there were great, I highly recommend going!

Going to Skydive Atlanta was an amazing experience for me! Everyone was is so friendly and the instructors are amazing! You have to wait a few hours from the time you sign in until the time you actually jump but they have a pretty cool hangout area with a board of places you can order takeout from! I’m the type of girl who doesn’t even like roller coasters, I only went because it was something my husband wanted to do for his birthday, but my instructor kept me at ease. My instructor, Michael (aka Mikey), was amazing! He knew when to keep me laughing and knew exactly how to coach me to remain calm! It’s definitely an experience I wouldn’t mind reliving again!

Great staff… great instructors and well trained, experienced jumpers. I had the time of my life making my 1^st jump here and already have plans to do my next jump soon!

I went skydiving with a college group right before graduation. We all had great experiences and loved it. All instructors are super experienced and friendly. I bought the pictures and video and was thoroughly satisfied. If I was in the area, I’d jump again in a heartbeat. It was so much fun!

This place is awesome!!! Just got my first jump done. These guys are very professional and so much fun to jump with. Great facility. Had a great time!!!

I second Justin’s review below. Skydive Atlanta has the best facilities, landing area, and plane in the state. And believe me, that kind of stuff’s important.
Instructors are well-​trained and capable. You’ll enjoy yourself here. Just jump!

In the state of Georgia, there are only three skydiving facilities.
Two work out of the same airport north-​west of Atlanta.
The other, Skydive Atlanta, is located directly south of Atlanta, in Thomaston, Ga.
Spending most of my weekends at one of the three drop-​zones, I’ve learned the ins and outs the different facilities.
Skydive Atlanta’s staff and regular customers are very welcoming and hospitable.
The instructors are very experienced and very sober.
The landing area is ideal. Flat and without trees.
Not to bash the other drop-​zones in Georgia; they have some great people, and offer a great time, although, from my experience, Skydive Atlanta is the best when it comes to safety, experience, friendliness and overall quality.
