This is a beautiful gallery for maritime art and objects. It is located next to the Keag Store, which serves as the general store for Spruce Head.
The gallery is much more spacious than it appears from the street. The manager told me that it is the largest gallery in the United States devoted exclusively to nautical art. In Maine, that is saying a lot, since just about every gallery on the coast is full of seascapes. I had my eye on a lovely impressionist painting of a boat on the water, but couldn’t quite convince my limited budget to cooperate with my desires.
