Never ever EVER take your computer in for repairs. Minus zero stars. My computer was gone for almost a month. Promised phone calls were rarely returned. Internal communication appears to be nonexistent. Important messages from one employee to the other about next steps were simply never shared. It was a nightmare from start to finish. And even though the few-​day repair became a many-​week ordeal, they made no price adjustments for their incompetence.

I discovered this gem back in May and I’ve been visiting ever since. The place is located in a small complex off of US 45. You can spot them by their unique open sign «OPWN»; it’s a clever game culture shout out. The place seems to be mostly focused on PC games but they have a decent supply of console stations (xbox one, xbox 360, wii u). If you consider yourself a Smash Brothers player this is definitely the place to be. Every sunday they have tournaments with a big turn out of players. I met Josh the owner, who helped organize an event last year called «Smash and Splash» which was one of the biggest events in the region.
I typically stick to my Counterstrike: GO and my battlefield 4 and haven’t had any issues running those games on High or Ultra GFX settings. The PC’s are plenty capable for whatever modern game you want to through at it. There are League of Legends players and SMITE players that frequent the HQ. If you ever have any questions about SMITE, their employee John (and resident SMITE guru) is a great teacher. Rocket League has also been gaining some momentum there as well.
Everyone I run into there is really friendly and the staff is very accommodating. I’m a bit of a clean freak and when I ask if I can get my monitor re-​cleaned they are always happy to help.
The place also builds PC’s, repairs them, and repairs consoles. If you have a disc stuck in a Xbox or PlayStation, they can get it out and repair the drive. I’ve spoken to their technician there and he’s really friendly and love’s to share his knowledge when he can.
Once a month or so they do an all nighter (8pm to 8am) which is a great test of gamer endurance. Make sure to grab some of their caffeine drinks if you do attend one (Monster, Bawls, Mt. Dew’s)

Really great group of folks who go the extra mile to ensure your needs are met. Josh and his team went the extra mile to make sure that I was taken care of!

As much as I would like to recommend this place for computer repair, I can’t. I ended up with more problems then what I started with. On the other hand if gaming is your thing, you, or your kids, might enjoy this place. I’ve never gamed and not even sure what it is, but during my visits the kids there seemed to be having a lot of fun (although I didn’t appreciate the potty mouths on a few of them!). It’s seems like a good place to unload your kid for the day. If they get hungry, tell them to go to Wayne’s for their 2 slices and pop special. The day would cost you about $ 20 for both. I must also add that the guys working there (the owners?), were very nice but maybe more complex computer issues are out of their realm.

gamershq is run by a bunch of unorganized teenagers strutting around in collared shirts, and ripping off better lan centers. service and attention are only provided to their own friends, while everyone else were made to feel extremely unwelcome. the «owners» (who appear to be 18) joked around and played video games instead of helping customers. the service in the place is terrible, and it was overpriced for a place that offers little more than your local library. this place will fail before long… save your money, its better spent almost anywhere else.
