Very impressed with the entire service from the moment I walked in the door. What a beautiful space as well as welcoming staff and dentists. The thorough explanation of the procedures to be done as well as what I had to expect with future visits was extraordinary. I am a person who hates the dentist, but have already booked my husband and I am exited to go back. The absolute best dental experience I have had and I would highly recommend Dr. Muzny and staff.

Just came back from my first appointment and it couldn’t have gone better. The office has tons of parking and a great view of Market Street. My appointment was on time and the dental hygienist was friendly and explained everything she was doing. Plus Dr. Muzny was sweet and made sure to follow up with what the hygienist recommended I do. Overall I couldn’t have asked for more. Oh and there were lots of good magazines in the waiting area — something you don’t always find!

I LOVE coming to this office. This is my second review on this place because I just can’t say enough how wonderful this place is. It is gorgeous and I always feel special when I walk in the door. All the cleaning techs that I have seen are always super nice and stop to ask if I’m comfortable. You can tell that patient care is the MOST important thing to everyone in the office. The front desk ladies went over payment options I had for some work I needed and Dr. Muzny explained everything I had questions about. Everytime I visit this office I leave feeling happy and that feels good. I HIGHLY recommend this dental office to everyone I know. If you want the VERY BEST for yourself and/​or your family then this is the place to go! I wish I could give everyone there 100 stars!!!

I really like this practice. Latest in technology, on-​time scheduling and they never seem to be in a rush with me. I especially appreciate that I have been able to get in last minute when I have had tooth pain. Dr Carrie Muzny has done several crowns for me and they have fit beautifully. When my Endodontist was doing a root canal, he even remarked about my good crown work. Additionally, my college age daughter needed a crown on her front tooth due to a large chip. Dr. Muzny did a phenomenal job as the coloring was a perfect match. No one would know my daughter’s front tooth isn’t real. I’m a fan.

I highly recommend visiting this dental office! You can expect exceptional customer service and professionalism from every single person there. No one truly enjoys going to the dentist, let’s be honest, but Dr. Muzny’s office makes it as enjoyable as possible. They are fantastic at explaining what is going on and what is needed in your oral care. I have seen both Dr. Muzny and Dr. Lawnin and they are both fantastic dentists that really seem to care about their patients. I really like how you see the same hygienist at each visit. April is so nice and professional and she is great about remember things about me, even though I only see her twice a year. I can’t recommend this office enough!

Even though I had retracted my previous 1-​star review related to processing of insurance paperwork, refunds and just overall attitude I received from Dr. Muzny’s office staff up until I posted the previous review (which then prompted many follow up calls and emails and finally paperwork questions were resolved and I removed the review), I have to bring the 1-​star rating back as a public service, because on top of all the headache with paperwork, 2 months later I am still dealing with major discomfort from the crown replaced by Dr. Lawnin.
I ended up at this dentist office due to a broken crown emergency while my preferred dentist was out on vacation for the entire week and I needed to get the crown fixed asap. At first I was thrilled to know that a permanent crown could be made on the same day, but was that a mistake to agree to it! 2 months later I am still painfully regretting it. Not only the procedure was painful (for the first time in decades since I’ve been going to dentists, the doctor «hit a nerve» when administering the anesthetic shot — on a tooth with a fixed root canal at that! — which frightened me for the rest of the uncomfortable procedure), but the crown itself just hasn’t felt right from day one: it is a weird shape (smaller in size than the previous crown, almost round on one side and has ridges on another; they also had to file my upper healthy teeth to get the crown to fit), and there is now a space between the crown and the next tooth where food gets stuck all the time and I have to floss repeatedly even after a small snack or soft food. I am having to carry floss around at all times, and, if I forget to bring it, a nice dinner out has to be followed by a trip to CVS to get floss, because food gets stubbornly stuck around the new crown every time…
I didn’t want to write this, because Dr. Lawnin was quite nice and patient when I felt anxious during the procedure. But 2 months after the crown was replaced, I am still very uncomfortable with irritation and persisting pain around the tooth — I feel mistreated, frustrated and feel the need to warn others. I am seeking help from another dentist and will not go back to this office, because the whole experience just proved to be deceitful — over-​the-​top friendly at first, but then any concerns were met with carelessness. Not only it was a pain to process paperwork at this office (and prices here truly ARE much more expensive than other dentists in the area), but also Dr. Lawnin’s suggestions that my crown would somehow start feeling better in time and gum tissue would grow back around the crown to close the gap never materialized — there is still a lot of space all around the crown where food gets stuck causing immense discomfort, and I am having way too many sleepless nights from painful irritation around the crown… I am not writing this to get anything from this office — my mind is made up, i will not go back there. I am writing to warn others. As I wait to get this tooth fixed again by another dentist in a couple of weeks, I am using yet another sleepless night to share about my experience with others.
P. S. Update to the above review a couple of months later (Jan 2016). I got a brand new crown at another dentist. Since I got it still in 2015, my insurance would not cover the same procedure, so I had to pay out of pocket. And guess what, my full out-​of-​pocket price at my new dentist office was as much as Dr. Muzny charged FOR CO-​PAY with insurance (i.e. other doctors do NOT charge as much as Dr. Muzny does!!!). Also, the same treatment of replacing a crown by my new dentist was so gentle, so painless in comparison to the treatment i received from Dr. Muzny’s staff, I was genuinely surprised and elated that such gentle and painless dental treatments still exist — yay!!! Please do not get fooled by the prospects of getting a permanent crown on site there at Dr. Muzny’s! Haste makes waste and results in expensive, painful, sloppy results. My new dentist took WEEKS to make sure that I am comfortable first with the temporary crown and that the new permanent crown fits absolutely perfectly before he permanently sealed it in place.

Her hygienists are friendly, well trained, and you get the sense that they truly enjoy their work. I feel that I get practical advice on the dental work needed, without being oversold on pricey, cosmetic recommendations.
Her office is conveniently located in Market Street, with a great view out most windows. I am able to easily schedule appointments that fit my schedule. I am always referring friends and co-​workers to her, so maybe my only suggestion would be a promotional: 5 successful referrals = 1 free teeth whitening. :-)

Great dentist, awesome views! I highly recommend visiting Dr. Muzny’s dental office! Going to the dentist is not what I would call «enjoyable,» but this office is bar none one of the best in the Woodlands! Expect professional staff from every corner!

BEWARE OF THEIR COSTS! I submitted my insurance information well in advance of my appointment and was never notified of the exorbitant costs I would end up paying out of pocket to this doctor!
During my appointment when they were taking all kinds of pictures of my individual teeth, gum measuring, and other things I’ve never had done before, I specifically asked the hygienist whether my insurance was going to cover it all and he replied with a resounding «yes! This is all covered!»
Three weeks later, I received an invoice for $ 276 FOR A STANDARD DENTAL CLEANING! As it turned out, this dentist was out of my network, so of the crazy high $ 375 bill, my insurance paid $ 100 leaving me with an out of pocket amount due of $ 276.
It’s absolutely ridiculous that I submitted the info a week ahead of time (in fact, they hounded me about getting my insurance info to them!), specifically asked whether the things they were doing were covered by insurance and still had to pay $ 200+ out of my own pocket.
If paying for her very fancy office in a very expensive location in The Woodlands is your thing, then you should go there post haste! However, I’m an Aggie just like this dentist is, but I would never refer her to anyone.

I’ve never been to a dental practice as nice as this one. The staff are very friendly and do a great job at making you feel at ease. Dr. Carrie Muzny is very thorough and explains everything she is going to do. I highly reccomend this dental practice.

I went to his partner Carrie Muzny. I must say I am extremely impressed with the office and well as the staff. My assistant I believe her name was Christine was awesome. I never ever had a cleaning as in depth as this one. I have been to plenty of dentist before. They have state of the art technology and really explain to you what going on with your teeth as well as the over health of you mouth. I highly recommend Dr Carrie Muzny!

Great dentist with great office and great staff. I think he spends more time with patients than other dentists and he never rushes.
