YUCK. that pretty much sums it up. A lot of people like it because they give you a lot of food and it’s cheap. But you get what you pay for here. Cheap ingredients, too much MSG, salt, starch, etc. The food is really gross. I’ve eaten here several times with various friends, always trying something new to see if I can find anything good, but I haven’t. It’s old, dated. I’d much rather pay more for less food that is a better quality.

First time in. Fast, friendly service. Huge portions and great prices. Best potstickers ever. Everything is homemade and delicious. Legitimate Chinese food. I will definitely be back.

Great restaurant! Local place with quality ingredients, friendly service, and huge portions at a reasonable price. A few turns off the freeway makes for a good stop while driving through town.

Huge portions. Great price, friendly staff. Get a Dragon Bowl. It might not look that great when you walk in but it is well worth a stop.

Food was good, but staff was not up to their game. Sorry about that, maybe next time.

Came down for one day of work in the area. I did not eat inside, just take out. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and a drink. Only 9 bucks. Forgot to ask if there was a fork and napkins. Opened it up and already it was already in there. Huge portion for the price. Sweet and sour chicken is a pretty standard dish, tasted good.

Where to start. First of, I wouldn’t agree with the«Best Chinese Food in the Gorge» it simply isn’t. However, I do enjoy their appetizers! The egg rolls are delicious, so are the crab puffs and pot stickers! When it comes to their main courses, well that’s a different story. The portions are gigantic and I COULD eat from them the next 3 – 4 days. but that’s just could. So far I always threw the left overs away. The sauces scare me! They remind me of some sort of gelatin/jelly something and there’s definitely nothing natural about them. So usually when I go, I will eat the appetizers but stay away from the main meal!

The food here is awesome! Service in the bar is great too. The egg flower soup has a little too much corn and peas, but it’s still good. The portions are so freaking huge you might want to share. We ordered one combination meal, and I have never seen such a large amount of food for one person ever before. We managed to put a dent in it and what we took home was two meals worth. I’m not kidding. This time we sat in the bar, it’s nicer than the restaurant and has a super duper happy hour menu. The times are pretty generous too, between 3:00 and 8:00 pm, offering coconut prawns $ 3, Mar Far chicken and a lot more. They don’t use MSG and I wasn’t guzzling water after eating like some Asian food places.

This place is absolutely amazing! The food, the atmosphere, the service. The food is amazing. BIG portions and tastes awesome. My favorite is the lemon chicken and I love the sauce with it. Their egg rolls are big and tastes just as amazing as the main course. I tend to travel almost 2 hours(traffic depending) to go here. Worth it to my family; we make a day trip out of it. Always eat lunch here and have extra for dinner(sometimes a snack later on). We have came here a dozen of times and have yet to receive bad food or service. Wish they were closer so we could eat here more.

Saw the review«Best Chinese in the Gorge» which actually led me here. I will say that the helpings are enormous, large family style plates heaped with food that could feed 4 – 5 people ea. The food though was less then exciting — the Kung Pao was very blan and I would say mediocre to border line — bad. I would not come back here again. I should have read the other reviews first– and realized… it may be the only Chinese restaurant in the Gorge. :(

The portions were huge. The flavor, not so much. There was a whole lot of bang for your buck though, food wise. We took leftovers home but we didn’t end up eating them. Given the option, I doubt I would go back.

I am a huge fan of Chinese food. My husband is not. This place is disgusting. The chicken is chewy and the sauces are gross. We ended up buying something else for dinner and just through it out. Disappointing.

This place has been a favorite of mine since it opened. I enjoy the service and the atmosphere as well as the delicious food served in big enough portions that you get to take some home with you. Everyone in my workplace gets jealous when someone is heating up some leftover Canton wok. Keep up the good work

Terrible Chinese food. We ordered orange chicken and general tso’s chicken and couldn’t tell the difference between the two. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 are the portions and prices. We got an ridiculous amount of food at a reasonable price. Unfortunately we didn’t want to eat any of the leftovers. Next time I’ll go to panda express.

I was in the middle of a 12 hour death march road trip from SLC to Portland and I whipped out the old intelligent telephone to find highly-rated ethnic foods in the gorge area to satisfy my road-warrior appetite. I came across The Canton Wok, which appeared it would suffice. Let me summarize my review with a haiku: Knock, Knock. Who is there? Shovelfuls of Schwan’s Man food. This is not Chinese. In retrospect, comparing this stuff to the Schwan’s brand may be too forgiving, but at least the portion sizes are large enough to keep the obesity epidemic going strong. That said, the service was ok and it is located in close proximity to the local Lions’ Club if that’s what you need. However, if you are not a taste bud amputee, skip it.

Better-than-average for mainstream Chinese food. Huge portions freshly cooked. That good old fried, crispy-with-glazed-goodness comfort food that you know you want. Not high end, just well made Chinese-American food. Yummy. Decent service. VERY good lunch deals.
