Max Donuts offers the best donuts in Texarkana. They rank superior in customer service. The owners always remember you and which donuts are your favorite. All flavors are excellent but my family loves the red velvet and blueberry cake donuts. Yummy! They also serve lunch. The best burger I have eaten in a long time!

My family and I love Max and his family. They are the sweetest people, and not to mention make terrific donuts amongst other things.(:

Absolutely a hidden jewel! The owners are so sweet and helpful and always throw in something extra. The menu takes variety to a whole new level. From donuts to die for to fried rice. But their burgers and fries are tops. Fresh made and huge with fresh ingredients! Service is always with a smile. Can’t wait to go back!

I’ve been here twice now. Will become a staple when I pass through Texarkana. It’s a bit off the main road but worth it. Got kolaches and donuts, again very excellent. Owners are also super nice. I highly recommend this little place.

Stopped in here for donuts during a road trip. Got sausage and cheese kolaches, a strawberry filled donut and a chocolate filled one. Everything was excellent. The lady at the counter was very sweet. If I drive through again wi definitely come in again!

Day one: Look at the building in the picture. Read what’s painted on it: fountain, ice cream, sodas, fried rice, cappuccino, fried rice… Fried rice… Yes, fried rice. Also coffee, breakfast & lunch, kolaches(Whatever they are… Oh, a Bohemian dessert!!!), croissants, muffins, sandwiches and – Ta-Da!!! – tacos. Whew! So I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. Both were excellent and the servings large… and the fries were fresh-cut. Oh, I forgot. «Donuts» is also on the building. So I ordered two, one a cinnamon bun and one called a butter bun. What’s a butter bun? It’s like a cinnamon bun without the cinnamon but with extra butter. Oh, man. They were the best such confections this side of Krispy Kreme, and large, too. This is a joint, a dive, an old drive-in. It’s décor is Early Tasteless. But I’ll tell you what, I don’t have to taste everything to believe that it all is delicious. Go to Max Donuts at max speed! Day two: Yes, I’m back. Yesterday I couldn’t spell kolaches; today I really like them, and as a rule, I don’t like sausages. I left with enough donuts to last through the weekend. It’s not even noon on Saturday, and they are all gone. I love this place. Someone please help!
